When I create a cube with probuilder and select a face and drag and drop a material, all of the faces receive the material instead of only the selected one. *Edit* Ok... the texture I was dragging and dropping was in my Assets folder. I went in my Materials folder and drag and dropped it from there and it was only applied to the selected face. Interesting.
The left and right keys mentioned in the beginning lecture do not work. Unity 2022... Is it a problem? It doesn't work anymore in playermaker... Is it ITween problem?
why does it have to be a probuilder object? I just want to unmap textures for an imported mesh

Why can't I find the edit details in unity 9:05, should i just use the paint trees and choose the grass material or some alternatives that I can use to make grass? (I'm using the Unity 2022)

This is great, and works for me, but not all the time. Sometimes it takes several clicks to register that it has hit an object, and I have to click and hold it for at least half-a-second or more to do so - a normal click doesn't generally work. My objects have 3 mesh LODs as children, and the box collider is on the parent object. I'm using the new InputSystem.
Now I can use this to build gtag maps and recreate monke up!

Hey @gustavecadet, these I created myself. If you need assets there are a ton of resources out there. I also have a video that covers using layer.ai to help you create assets as well. I would post the assets but lost the hard drive that had a ton of videos and assets on it.

It's pretty amazing the things that AI can do if you are a experienced designer or as a beginner.
@@BlizStudio What is your opinion on this: is it safe to use ai assets in commercial game dev? Some ppl are still mad about it. I, personally, as a game designer with no art skills can't afford to not use them. I think that utilizing them in a harmonious, cohesive way is fine, if the focus is on great gameplay and mechanics.

I am following the tutorial and trying to make the flip character work. I add a float compare action and trying to set float1 as XMove. However, "XMove" does not showing in the dropdown menu. Anyone has this problem?
OK I found reason: I am building the scene in 3d, so the data was saved is not a float, is a vector instead, so I am not supposed to use float compare. I'll leave this comment in case any run into this problem

How do i add a Collider to this to fit perfectly??
You'll add a Polygon Collider 2D component. Once you do, in the Sprite Shape Controller component an option will be at the bottom that is "Update Collider". Check that and then if you move any of the polygons, the collider will automatically update. You can also choose to offset the collider which I like to do so that the character isn't directly on top of the 2D sprite but will be slightly inside. Makes the character more "connected/in the space".

Unfortunately not at runtime that I know of. There are a couple tools on the asset store that will accomplish this. This would be a great thing to have with ProBuilder. It might be possible but my developer skills aren't that good to accomplish this.

Were you able to get this figured? I've been offline. Several things you can do. You would do a screen to world space action to get where your pointer clicked. Then you can use a "move to".

Good question. I haven't tried anything with VR video. I'll have to give that a try.
For me, when I add the Dolly Track Cinemachine to my Camera, it just goes nuts and starts going all over the scene with each mouse movement over the scene (even while I'm in the editor not running the game).
