Hello, I'm bothering you. I'm sorry I changed the oem strut and did not change the spring. I'm 1,000 miles now, and I'm in a worse condition than before I think the car is softer. I think it's right to change the springs, too I'm also thinking about selling strut and buying fsport stud and spring. Tein flex is also attractive
@@sonson2669 Hi there, tell me which strut did you Installed OEM or KYB? How many miles have your car? The condition of your tires and size? Because on my case I used the same springs, but I replaced all front ball joint, upper adjustable camber and sway bar links. It did give me any problem. If you want the Tein springs some of them are to lowering the car 1.5” and you will fill it more stiffer more close are the spring from each other more stiffer the ride. Text me back more then welcome to help you.
@@momo5757 Hi my car is over 40,000 miles and oem. The tires are still about 80 percent left. I need to replace the stabilizer bar, too. I want a new car feeling, but it might not be easy. tein staz says that if you adjust the height, the performance decreases, but tein flex strut does not change even if you adjust the height. I went for a test drive of my friend's is200t f sport a few days ago and it was pretty good. It was moderately hard. I wanted a car that was comfortable but with excellent cornering, but it's complicated now. I'm just thinking about going to the f sport suspension
@@sonson2669 Well your car I consider like brand new, I have 100,000 miles already on my car and Going F sport strut is not bad idea, will be great. My car is really good in cornering and still the ride is smooth, this is my set up for that: - Figs Engineering Front Lower Bushing - Adjustable upper control arm mega racing - Hankook tires - Front Strut bar Mega racing The strut bar is the one do a big difference the others parts complement everything. Let me know what do you think or which way you decide to go.
@@momo5757 Thank you for the detailed explanation. I greatly appreciate your advice Spring is probably the reason why my car with 40,000 miles has a lot of rolling, right? But my friend says it's a link between the stabilizer and it I've also had a 2gen is250f sport for a long time and it was a really solid ride. But the reason I think 3gen will be a little more comfortable is because I heard that the car geometry rigidity is better. I'm glad to know your tuning details
@on my opinion I don’t think your front spring are bad because your car only have 40,000 miles. I forgot to ask, your actual car is F sport or just regular Lexus is

The r1 concept I got where carbon slotted and drilled but I brought it into Lexus they said my rotors where making the most noise but they didn’t really diagnose it we went for a ride down the road with the tech I really appreciate I’m not sure what I want to do quite yet the r1 concept are holding up great it’s weird but when I come to stop it sounds like a frog so I was guessing that was the after market clips
@@jonathanfitch5034 can be many reasons for that noise but let me break it down. 1. If you are driving 20 to 40 mph with out breaking and you hear friction noise A. Rotors are not even B. The clips and the edge of the break pads doesn’t have brake lubricant.
