Im A 23 Yr Old Female & I Have A 2014 Ford Fusion.. Its HOT & If I Can Get Out Of Paying $2,178 I WILL DO IT MYSELF!! Do I Have To Disconnect The Airbags & The Power Connection To Take The Steering Column Out?
if you watch the video at 20:35 there is instruction on disarming the air bag system. I have heard other people say you do not need to remove the steering wheel but my hands are not small enough to get into the location where it is.
Great video! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Hi Tammy!! New to your channel!! I’m also in the collaboration! So had to come over and see what you were making! Omg these look amazing!! I love gingerbread anything! I love that you grated the butter! I definitely have to try them before Christmas ❤❤
Thanks so much for the sub, I subbed you back :) Loved your pretzel recipe, the chocolate and sprinkles would be great for Christmas. My son is a pretzel fiend, I'll be giving them a try for sure!!😊❤
I love making scones! They are one of the few things I can bake and have them come out right lol.
They're the best, I love them too. You can flavour them just about any way you want. Thanks so much for watching!🙂❤
Looks delicious, but I don't want to wait until Christmas.
No you have to test them a few times before Christmas!! 😄 Thanks for watching❤
They look delish! Going to give them a try for sure!
Hope you enjoy them, mine were devoured the same day lol. Thanks so much for watching!☺❤
My 2013 fusion blows ac out of floor vents when set control to blow out of dash vents, will that actuator you replaced cure that problem. I want my ac to blow on me not on my feet! Great video also👍🏻
yes that is the one that controls which vents the air comes from
Thank you for the videos. However to save some people time here are a few hints. The blend door and mode actuator motors are the same part just in different locations. To remove the difficult one (mode door actuator) you do NOT need to remove the dash. Disable the SRS. Remove the instrument cluster. Remove the column trim. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the column in place. You can leave the shaft connected and twist and drop the column out of the way. Then you can unplug the motor, remove the two JIS (looks like Phillips, and you can get away with a #2 phillips) remove the motor. You should be able to move the white plastic shaft, and you will likely need to clock it to match the output shaft from the motor. Watch the video though, he does a great job of showing you a lot of great info.
attempting this on monday, you’re detailed video will get me out of a $1200 dollar fix🙏🙏
It definitely is a big money saver for sure! Good luck with it, hope all goes well!
How much water did you use in your canner?
My canner is a 23 quart Presto, I use 3 quarts of water. The Presto also has notches on the inside of the pot. 3 quarts is the last notch at the bottom. Please double check your canners operating guide to make sure of the amount, some are different. 😉 Hope this helps!🌷
Did that crack originally allow water through? Or is this an aesthetic repair? And THANIKs, for the video BTW. I always appreciate a good how-to!!!!
I cant say for sure, I ground out about 1/16th" of material and could still see the crack. I have a finished ceiling below the tub so i couldn't see it from the bottom. That said my ceiling never showed signs of any water either.
Very detailed and easy to follow video. Thanks
Thanks for the vid and info. Great job. This will help out a bunch.
Great Job. Thanks for the information...
I haven't tried it yet girlfriend's son's fusion blows heat when ac knob is on blend switching to defogger it switches the heat to windshield, freon is charged compressor kicks on lines sweating but no cold air blowing
there are 3 door motors in total. 1 by the gas pedal, controls which vents the air blows through. 2 behind the glove box, 1 of them is for blending hot and cold air together for the desired temp. the other is for recirculating air inside the car or drawing fresh air in from outside. Some may also allow different temp. settings for driver and passenger. I 'm not sure if that is another motor or it functions another way.
Thank you for this video. It helped me to be able to remove the motor. The type is DG9H-19E616-BA (in my 2016 mondeo)
Put a block in your planer and lower it down to hold the roller up in place makes it so much easier. I lent mi e out and the person returned it broken :/ the adjustment of thickness was shot. I fixed that, went to use it and realized there is no drive. Figured the rollers needed to be greased. Greased it up and it works but I noticed that there seems to be a skip in the motor for the feed. Im thinking the gears must be busted up. Trying to figure out how to open up the motor to look at it.
Watch the video from time stamp 18:00 -20:00 I had the same issue and thought it was gear problem, it turned out out to be the worn bushing causing this.
No, it was the gears. I could hear it clicking as it would skip. I figured out how to open it, I just wanted to make sure I would not damage any of the electrical connections. I ran it with the chains off to be sure. I’m thinking the person used it with out any dust control and possibly built up in the planer and jammed the material in the planer. Would explain why the up down was damaged as well as the gears for the feed.
If you are doing this and especially if you live in rust belt, you should change those upper brackets as well. There is a rubber bushing in there that wears out. Mine were making a "clunk" noise from the left rear and that is primarily caused from wear in the bracket. I ordered new shocks, new brackets, and new dust boots (since they have the rubber bumper integrated to keep it from bottoming out) and the bumpers definitely were not very rubbery anymore. If you are buying OEM Motorcraft shocks, be sure to order the nut for the shock as well since they do not come with a new one.
Hopefully you're still checking the comments on this. Im looking at doing this for the same make model and year. Very helpful 2 videos. I do want to know if the lights on the instrument panel need to be set to a specific setting before starting. What i don't want is for me to set a new actuator and the buttons are lit in the wrong place for what it is actually set to or if it corrects itself once you've completed the reinstall. I would hate for it to have a light turned on to the floor mode when it's actually set to blow out the front vents. Hopefully I'm making sense.
light setting does not matter, the actuator is only there to operate the door/vent. it has no impact on the light.
Stupid didn't test it 042824
I have the book and it said after it sits 24 hours you are supposed to put it on s Trays lined with paper towels and drain 6 hours before packing into jars. Not sure how important it is.
Thanks for mentioning that I missed it in the video. I drained it for probably a couple hours but honestly I don't think it would make much difference. Thanks for watching!😊
So delicious..
Glad you gave the recipe a try!❤
They look so good. I need to try them!
Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching!
My 2020 Santa Fe has the same issue. They are not chewed. The pretentioners are defective and causing the damage. All of these cars need to be recalled. Do not allow passengers to sit in the rear seat of your Hyundai.
How has it worked out?
The crack come back after a few months. no signs of a leak so I'll leave it until I'm ready to replace the tub.
should of also shown the install part...
Perhaps, I thought it may be redundant since taking the old part out was so easy, After all its only 2 bolts and 1 nut. People have different skills sets and may have found the install to be unnecessary. Its always a challenge deciding what to include or exclude from a video. But thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for watching.
This looks great. And easy to fix. Now I know exactly how it was meant to be prepared. Thanks!
Thanks so much, I hope you give it a try. Thanks for watching!
This looks great. My husband has made a lot of things for me. It takes time, but it’s worth it! Looks great!
Thanks! Its great being able to make your own things, you can create things that will perfectly fit your needs. It can be time consuming for sure but love every piece he's made. Thanks for watching! :)
What is the part number?
Sorry I looked for the receipt but can't find it.
Do you have to remove the board screws. If so what did you use to get them out in the back
I'm not sure I understand the question. If you are removing the board then yes you need to remove the screws to un-attach it. In witch case I used the same tool on the back as I used on the front screws.
Thanks for sharing. My husband does a LOT of our car needs.
Tammy that chicken stroganoff sounds so yummy and different than beef. Thanks so much for this alternate recipe. Many Blessings from Deborah in West Virginia!
Your very welcome, thanks so much for watching!
Looks delicious!,
Tried it already and it's on the shelves but we're trying to eat as much as we can out of the freezer so haven't tried it yet.
So glad you gave it a try!! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching and good luck on the draw!
I never thought of making chicken stroganoff! It sounds delicious!
Thanks for showing us all the lid pieces and how things should look and what is needing routine maintenance. Great idea to mark on Lids rach use with a sharpee
Thanks Tammy for this recipe. (And for great details instructions) I hope this helps beginner canners and helps us who have been canning a while to “do it right” without the shortcuts.😊
I have made beef stroganoff but i think id rather have chicken stroganoff. Looks so good. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Looks like it would be so good and I’ve never had chicken stroganoff before. Somehow I missed your video and thought I would check the playlist, glad I did. Thanks for sharing and being part of this collaboration. Have a blessed evening!
Even if I an old hand at canning, I love these collabs for good refresher courses and to gain a different perspective on another's' recipe. Thanks for being part of the Plan to Can
Thanks Koni! I love all the collabs that I'm seeing out now, so much fun and I've seen so many great new ideas. Thanks so much for watching!☺🤎
Thank you so much for the recipe, Tammy! I'm always looking for the main meal ones.
You welcome and thanks for watching!
I want a pressure canner! I'm going to get one some day, thanks!
Hi have a p bath just noticed the white part inside which is stuck to fibre glass bottom has come loose..When you press your finger in middle of bath the white skin part is moving up and down, looks like a plastic skin was put over base and has come away. What can I do as if that white skin as I now call it cracks I'm in trouble. Never seen it before..
Thanks for leaving your comment but I've never seen anything like this before, sorry i couldn't help.
Thus is a great recipe. Never had chicken stroganoff but it looks delicious
thank you. I would not have thought of mustard instead of tomato paste
Thank you for this chicken based recipe. ( I like chicken) you were so patient through the video. Helpful for a beginner! Thanks
Thank you, I hope you give the recipe a try. Thanks for watching!🙂
Sounds like a great recipe. The spin tight is a good indicator.
