Ase means nothing. Nobody in buisness takes it seriously because you get no training. Almost anyone who has any basic knowledge of simple car maintenance can be Certified in 1 day. It means nothing and no employer cares simply because its not Special nor does it prove that you know anything about anything. Except maybe changing oil or rotation of tires Thats about it. Insurance companies dont recognize either. I car is what you need to work in a collision repair shop and it take a lot of money and years of classes and training. There are levels to it.silver,gold ,and platinum. I am a platinum member and i would say it takes 4 or 5 years to get to platinum statis with regular classes and hands on experience. At that point you basically have the equivalent to a masters degree in your specific field. The point is that ase means noting and if you put it on a job application at best its irrelevant and at worst i might cost you a job.. If you want to work at the highest level of the automotive tech industry, you MUST have Icar certification not a 2hour ase class about how to change oil and rotate tires.

I use an analog ammeter with an inline fuse connected to the test lead rated for the ammeter size. Works for finding parasitic current draw. You are a good teacher!

Is another purpose of the parking/emergency brake for in case your hydraulic brake system goes out? Or with all the different force multipliers does it ensure the brakes continue when one component goes out?

Hello Ms Angelina, with your current success, I would suggest that you make the most of it and (if you have time of course) upload to your channel again as I would happily gamble (and I’m not all that fond of that particular pastime) a good bit of my entire worth that you’d have a booming TH-cam channel. People want to see more of you because you’re both fantastically knowledgeable and you know how to explain these things in a manner that anyone could understand it. You've also got a brilliant personality and have a natural talent for presentation. I’m genuinely surprised that your channel, with all the effort you put into it, wasn’t a massive hit already but TH-cam is a fickle place. Now you’ve got the RMS position (Sandro and you could very easily have your own channel because, while you’re both brilliant on your own, when you’re together it’s an electrifying partnership) especially, it’d be a good time to pounce. Or, (and I despise office speak more than I could ever tell you in a TH-cam comment) ‘Make Hay While The Sun Shines!” The Which I freely admit, sounds a bit mercenary, however you’ve got a real talent and if you wanted to pursue a more media-oriented career, now is the time!! It’s none of my business of course, what’s more, you might be perfectly happy with your life at the moment and don’t want the hassle of being even TH-cam famous (I’d hear you there!)
