I have one and just recently got new tires for it Kenda sport nevegal 29 2 20 tires and it's a beast on the berms and jumps at the trexler nature preserve here in Allentown Pennsylvania, I don't give a damn what you say or think about it, it's a great hard tail steel frame.

@@640amthemix don't know if you ever heard of it but I ride the trexler nature preserve here in Allentown Pennsylvania and this bike takes the berms and jumps and more just as good as any other one.
@@WilliamBeaver-tb9nt No not familiar with that trail. Iâm glad the bike is itâs working out for you and your taking it on quality trails . Iâve said in the past itâs typically not the bikes at Walmart but the assembly causing a lot of mechanicals but they have improved not only the quality of bicycle but the assembly as well Thanks for the update on the bike. Nothing better than a review after miles on the trail.
Hey in the menu it says pri channel and it goes up to 400 does this mean it goes up to 400 channels but its locked or blocked ?
Typically one channel is alllocated to primary which usually is ch9 for emergency but can be changed to be your favorite channel. I donât think itâs blocked.

@@640amthemix I read the manual for the bike and it said nothing about light trails or anything like that so I don't really understand why some people are downing this bike. It's a hard tail with 29 inch tires

Not really true. I live in Foglesville Pennsylvania and I have the trexler national preserve just minutes away from me and it has a lot of jumps and berms and it's doing just fine. Check out the trexler national preserve trails, with the angry enchiladas and see the trails, my New huffy rock creek 29 is handling all of them.
Iâm glad to hear that . I always warn that they are known as light trail entry level bikes as some are not assembled correctly which can cause mechanicals so it appears you got a winner ! Enjoy the trail

I would like to install a cb on one of my garden tractors. What kind of antenna do I need for 120 watts of POWER?
I would think it would be easy to drop a mag mount to the hood of the tractor. Take a look at the Wilson 1000.
Isn't cb limited to 4 watts?
Hence the term âExport CBâ. Marketed to foreign markets. In the US you are restricted to 4W. So user beware!

26.805 mhz is not part of the US cb band. it is reserved for grandfathered FM broadcast radio studio to transmitter links. FM does modulate better in the 26 MHZ range. I believe that is in the European CB FM band. The UK is below The US CB band channel 40 to just under the 10 meter band. I think around 27.805 MHZ - 27.9705 careful some of those frequencies are currently being used by the US military and MARS.
I agree and I do not key up on those frequencies. I have heard some UK FM on the 27.781 area when the skip is good from Europe. Also the 27.555 on USB but also outside the US CB band. Thanks for the tips.
New Track from Hibirius just dropped on 640 AM The Mix and now on TH-cam!
In the UK we have the same 40 midband channels as the US and EU which can be used in AM/FM/SSB mode and then another 40 UK-only channels higher up in the 27Mhz range which are FM only. Skip can happen on all modes but it's usually very easy to find a skip-free channel due to the almost total lack of CB users.
I agree. I know some of the history on the UK CB bands and I know it was a hard fight for the âmid block â but now that you have both itâs a great thing . Thanks for watching.
@@640amthemix Yes, in fact it's only been legal since 2014 to use AM and SSB in the midband. Until then everything was FM only. Actually using FM is a pleasure on a handheld CB when you are outdoors hunting or fishing because the channels are all empty and so the Rx sound quality is really good.

880 AM is now ESP sports radio. I hope Tony and Dawn can keep the cousin Brucie show going on at least in a podcast form.. A nice retirement job from show business. I hope my cousin Matt still has a job. Former news director 880 AM WCBS. Thank You George Soros for selling the station to ESPN. New York's newest sports radio. Guess we will just have to tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree.
The crew at WCBS did mention of the difficulty in some of the crew being able to find new jobs. Hopefully some can land at 1010 or else probably will have to go to outside markets. All around Shame and a real loss to to the community and to the flow of information.

Guys, We need to see new HR2510 on the market, one of the best Ham/cb radio ever made, We also need back the PDL 2 beam antenna, Guys we need someone to pass on the gud word to the right people, watching from Jamaica west Indies !!.
HR2510 was a great export radio. But today you have Anytone and RCI and others. Thanks for watching from the West Indies! We will look for you on 38 LSB when the band is cracking!
