So what are the updates regarding the possible changes at KYW and WPHT and other audacy news and news talk stations in other cities that might change? if anyone has info, let us know.
880 AM is now ESP sports radio. I hope Tony and Dawn can keep the cousin Brucie show going on at least in a podcast form.. A nice retirement job from show business. I hope my cousin Matt still has a job. Former news director 880 AM WCBS. Thank You George Soros for selling the station to ESPN. New York's newest sports radio. Guess we will just have to tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree.
The crew at WCBS did mention of the difficulty in some of the crew being able to find new jobs. Hopefully some can land at 1010 or else probably will have to go to outside markets. All around Shame and a real loss to to the community and to the flow of information.
