Nov 11 2024. large brush fires everywhere. still NO training
Interesting and horrifying at the same time. Why wooden structures and not fire-wall between the burning house and the green?
You know, I was in there, I saw two men crying, it was horrific my mom was friends with that person
Very nice upload 👍👍very nice 🏙🌆 Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ Your videos are absolutely amazing. ♥🔔❤

5” water supply from hydrant should supply each of the tower tucks. Imagine running a water shuttle
They could possible do a water shuutle using egine as there are no tankers available but have to use what you have the best way you can
Was für ein scheiß keiner löscht auch diese blöden tower loader oder wie der Kram heißt nicht, inkompetent, zu viele Feuerwehr Männer die blöd rumstehen
They've lost touch with the meaning of the service they provide and don't care.

Wow! What a bunch of phonies. On the video, it took them how long to get water on that fire? The building got destroyed because these guys were standing around pulling their cranks. And screaming into their radios.. But, you're the heroes. An interiors attack? When all they had to do was get water on the fire.
Second alarm? Or all hands
10.02, showing the fire in the window... that was a sprinkler head, but no water????
where the hell are the members who went on the roof.....
What’s the box number
Sad firewalls in cocklofts came in to being way to late !
Why don't bucket trucks have their own air hose lines going up to bucket so they wouldnt have to depend on new tanks when being smoked out ?
Should we put the fire out or go in and play? Shit show
Love these videos but cant help to show flaws. First ladder up had no hose attached with power nozzle, and not one hose prerigged on it to use on a roof.
My Mom grew up on Green Island (born in 1941) and then the family moved to 16th. street in Troy. Every trip from NJ to visit my Grandparents required traveling over that bridge and the other similar looking bridge right near the collapsed one. Thanks for posting!
If they could just figure out how to get those sticks there always carrying around to spray water.
Man they screwed the pooch on this one.
The old original siding holds up better compared to the cheap vinyl siding.
Great Video! Don't know how I missed it so long. I search for Fire ground video. Well, better late than never. Love commitment to aggressive interior attack. Well done FDNY. And well done video. Be safe all. 🚒🇺🇸
bronx firemen always so polite!!
Was this a credited house fire
At first, you don't want your men inside with such a raging fire above your head! The risk for damage tot the other buildings is also getting bigger this way. Combination attack! First from below/the ladder and then, if safe enough, an interior attack. The risk for firefighters trapped on the roof is also big. One ladder was full in the flames!!! And keep your mask on!!! You inhale whole quantities of carbon monoxide and other compounds. Very harmful!
A men Geun su thank you love thank you a men Geun su 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂南無阿彌陀佛🙏南無阿彌陀佛🙏南無阿彌陀佛🙏南無阿彌陀佛🙏南無阿彌陀佛🙏南無阿彌陀佛🙏
Water? Anyone?
Good work NOTHING, They did not put a hose on the fire till much later. FD sucky job.
That’s how you put a fire out
I sincerely hope everyone made it out alive. I may not be a fire fighter myself, but I know that there’s a science behind how Fire‘s work firefighters don’t go in with a hero complex because they know that will get them in their team killed as well as any civilians that may be trapped, good catch by that member on the tower ladder, keeping his fellow brothers well informed of the situation around them job well done by the FDNY
Bro my mom was picking me up from daycare that day. We had to take the other way home cause of the fire. The story I heard from my mom was that. When my mom was coming to pick me up from daycare she passes bravos and bravos was just fine when she passed bravos. She was gonna get something from there but she forgot her card and she was lucky she didn’t go. Then when she went to pick me up the block was filled with smoke. We took a video of the Smoke. We took the other way home. When we got home my dad was so worried. I was 7 now I’m 8. When this happened that was my first time seeing a real fire. I was shocked that night. The end
R4 was rollin 🔥
I'm very surprised that 146 chauffer saw the flashover beginning well before 146 bucket did. The colour and volume of smoke, and the flames actually starting to ignite the smoke was a huge red flag that the floor was about to flashover and it's something the bucket should've have caught. Good and quick thinking by the chauffer though to keep his man out of harms way. This is what I love about the FDNY they watch each other's backs so carefully they rarely miss anything between the whole team. This is why the FDNY is so good at what they do, and imo are the very best in the nation.
Well if there the best, how bad are the others? If only the man in the bucket had some tool to cool down the hot gasses before they ignited. Would have prevented the floor engulfed in flames and extension to the other buiding
@@Squad61 Honestly some are really bad. Garfield, NJ FD for instance. They are the definition of how to lose a building 101, and how to get members injured or killed. As far as the bucket is concerned there's always places improvements can be made, but I still stand behind FDNY being the best in the nation with their skill, teamwork, leadership, thoroughness, and how smoothly and machine like they operate.
Where’s the firefighter that went on the roof on the right side of the building😮😮😮😮
I found the building on Google Maps. The pictures that they used was made not long after the fire.
Thats what should have been done at the Start
Finaly Water well a bit
I Think Fire Fighters are some of the Bravest People we Have. Buy when they Just Stand about letting fire get Hold i wander about there Tactics. Beat it Back with water dont Stand and let it Burn. Cus now its Spread
Do you realize that all these fireman who have oxygen tanks strapped to their backs should never go into a dwelling while it's on fire?! It would EXPLODE. The oxygen tank is flammable!!! Yet in every video I watch, these fireman are wearing these tanks and going into buildings. 😮
From what I’ve seen over the years, full-time firefighters deserve to be paid big bucks. My background is nursing and the pay is crap but at least I know the worst I’ll experience on a shift is being assaulted by some drunk that’s come in or spend the 12 hours caked in bodily fluids…..I’ll take that over dealing with finding dead or dying pets, getting crisped up or trapped when a floor or building collapses. Nothing but respect for the folk that run into a burning building. Our local guys deal mainly with traffic crashes and a lot are fatal due to the roads and tourists or motorcyclists. I could handle that but for the chance of finding children or pets caught up in it. People you can deal with and explain why they’re suffering, animals and small kids you can’t.
Should mention that I’m from the Scottish highlands and didn’t really pay attention to firefighters until the mid 2000s when I started watching Rescue Me…..the only emergency services show I’ll watch due to it not being cheesy and having the kind of humour I appreciate. FDNY….hardcore guys who represent the best of firefighters globally.
Fdny has never lost a basement
Not showing any attack or putting water on the fire. Why?
Got it knocked down decently. Where I was raised up they would have sent up a scout plane and would have had multiple water bomber planes drowning the perimeter of the unburned brush to contain the blaze then several water drops over the cooked and burning ground until saturated. Oregon has a eight or ten airplane squadron of water bomber airplanes and helicopter rescue as well as smoke jumpers and regular multi truck fire departments all working together. Great place to live but the fire season is no joke and the sky gets really busy at times.
I never saw the first fireman on the roof leave the building 😮 Where is he?
7 holding one hose that has low water pressure.....
Definitely a different type of fire fighting back East 😮 Be safe guys. ❤️Peace
