I flew scoot lately on a short haul and it was quite good!

@@a350yes, i would definitely say scoot is better than Jetstar since unlike Jetstar, scoot never weighed my bags. Jetstar has a 7-kilo limit, and whenever I flew through Melbourne, I would be asked to pay a fee if my bags were overweight. It would be 70 AUD if either just an international or domestic, but 110 AUD if a mix of both. I flew Jetstar 2 weeks ago from Phnom Penh-Singapore-Melbourne-Sydney. I had my bags weighed at Phnom Penh, but they never charged me for them. Singapore didn’t weigh my bags. Melbourne did, and I was charged 110 AUD since for all 3 flights. If Jetstar had a direct flight from Singapore to Sydney, then, I could have saved 110 AUD from that bag fee. I flew scoot 2 months ago. It’s decent, but you have to pay like 4 Singapore dollars to plug in devices to charge, which is the first time I had experienced this on an airline cause I always managed to plug in my devices for free if there was a power point to plug them in.

In Thailand they have gender based particles. Male version of hello - sawatdee khrap and female sawatdee kha.

In Asia they are much more relaxed than in the West.

When they are ok with filming, i film, when they don't then I don't. I already had so many interesting flights which i couldn't film.

Hey! Still traveling! Cool! I flew once wizzair a320ceo, and didn't like it very cramped.

Really? No way, wow. Same for me, still travelling. I miss Athens and I would like to visit again next year. Last Thursday, I flew Aegean airlines from Athens to Belgrade for the 1st time, departing is bus gate, arriving is jetbridge, flight is almost full, flight is good, 1 hour and 17 minutes. Later today, I am flying Air Serbia, ATR72-600 from Belgrade to Budapest for the 1st time, unfortunately, I am not looking forward to my flight because I don't like small ATR planes (never flown before, it's going to be my 1st time flying ATR in 2024), but I am looking forward to my flight. After arriving in Budapest, we say 3 nights, 2 days, before unfortunately flying Wizzair again for the 2nd time (reason is because we book the cheapest flight) from Budapest to Rome for the 1st time, I am not looking forward to my flight, but looking forward to my trip.

Greetings from Rome. I arrive in Rome last night on Wizzair, Airbus A321neo for the 1st time from Budapest, flight is almost full, flight is good and okay, 1 hour and 20 minutes besides the half an hour delay, the lavatory is standard, but almost small, the sink is small and tiny, it's the size of my hand (same when I flew Wizzair, Airbus A321 from Tel Aviv to Athens last week Tuesday, it's good and okay, almost similar flight), wow. Unfortunately, I will not fly Wizzair because you have to pay 40 Euros to check in (even in advance, you have to pay, but it's 13 Euros), worse, charge for luggage and flight is delayed, even though it's cheap.

1h20 it's survivable 😅 you have to be careful with low cost's in Europe they try to charge everywhere!

@@a350 I had been to Bangkok 6 years ago. Most of the staff didn’t know English, but back then, I didn’t really pay attention to greetings like now. Yeah, occasionally in vietnam and Cambodia, I got hi, thank you, and the word “massage” in their languages. In Sydney, in rare cases, I get Thai greetings, but it’s uncommon due to English being the language here.

@@a350 haven’t been to Malaysia yet. I can understand Singapore cause their national spoken language is English. Vietnam does the hospitality only at some restaurants and Cambodia does the hospitality only at some restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores Japan has the best hospitality though. South Korea has decent hospitality, though not as much as Vietnam and Cambodia. Haven’t flown on a Thai airline lol, but never once did I see flight attendants put their hands together to greet me or any passenger really. However, I don’t remember if at Bangkok airport, staff did this to me. I wasn’t really paying attention cause in the days I was in Bangkok airport, I had a huge sore throat. Weird thing was the day after I landed at Bangkok, my sore throat became just a cough so I could talk and eat without pain, but the day when I left, it went back to a sore throat. A couple of times in Sydney, a few Thai servers at restaurants have greeted me and even bowed down to me (most of the time in their language lol). It’s still pretty uncommon for me to experience there cause I don’t look East Asian, and they know I am not fluent in Thai.

It depends on the airline and crew, i had a lot of flights where I couldn't film.

@@a350one time, a random gate agent back when I used to live in America told me I wasn’t allowed to film planes from the boarding gate. Like what an abuse of power? No other staff at that airport cared.

@@a350I mean do you have any Asian ethnic background? I have no East Asian background nor do I look East Asian, and the only time I can recall at an East Asian airport greet me in their language was at Seoul Incheon airport back in March when I bought something from this convenience store lol. Then on a plane, the only times I can recall East Asian staff speak to me in their language was when I boarded this Xiamen airlines flight at Seoul back in March for Xiamen, and just one of the stewardesses only said hi to me in Mandarin lol. Then, that same night, on a flight from Xiamen to Sydney, one of the stewardesses angrily said to unplug my charger in mandarin and then added the word “please”. I kind of guessed that one lol, and she did say it to me cause she was looking at me and I was the only passenger in that part of the plane who had it plugged in. Plus, she said the word “please” in English. Also, I notice you know how to say hi and thank you in Thai anyways. I never flew on any Thai-based airlines, and the only airport I had been to in Thailand was Bangkok, and that was only once back in 2018. I don’t recall if anyone greeted me in Thai though. I did get a lady yesterday in a Cambodian airport to say thank you to me in her language, though unlike the previous instances, I decided to greet her in her language.

@@a350 I wonder if Laos, Malaysia, Phillipines, or Indonesia have hospitality like this. Vietnam has low hospitality from my experience. Cambodia is higher, though many times, they will say in English instead of Khmer. I did get ladies to say the Khmer word for massage to me, but that’s only cause the word in their language sounds close to the English word haha

Thanks. Yes. Sorry for not updating my Manila to Tel Aviv via Dubai sector, I was super busy, visiting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Sorry, I have a lot of information to share my experience on both Manila to Dubai and Dubai to Tel Aviv, so hope you read all my information. Last Tuesday, I flew Philippine airlines, Airbus A330-300 in economy class for the 1st time from Manila to Dubai, flight is almost full and flight is good and okay, 8 and a half hours. Before my flight, I was looking forward to fly Philippine airlines, Airbus A330-300 (RP-C8782) in the newer cabin with in flight entertainment and 2-4-2 configuration in economy class. But unfortunately, once I enter the plane, I realize were flying the high density configuration in a very tight 3-3-3 economy class with no in flight entertainment TV and I was disappointed for a 8 and a half hour to Dubai. My experience, good, pillow, blanket, amenity kit, hot towel and 2nd full hot meal is appreciated, 1st meal, choice of chicken with rice or beef, I went with the chicken with rice, it taste good and okay, not the best. Pro, pillows and blankets are waiting in my seat, which is good and appreciated on a long haul flight, cup holder is appreciated if I don't want to hold the cup of water for too long, they have universal power outlet underneath every 3 seat, which is good to charge my tablet and laptop, after takeoff, the crew give out amenity kit (include toothbrush, toothpaste, eye shade or eye mask and socks, which is highly appreciated on a long haul flight) in economy class, which is super rare there days. I recline my seat and it's good, in the lavatory, they have paper cup, but too small, which is good to rinse my mouth and brush teeth, 2 hours before landing, for the 1st time, the crew hand out hot towel in economy class, which is super rare these days, good to freshen up and appreciated, and a 2nd full hot meal on a 8 and a half hour long haul flight, wow, choice of chicken with rice or beef, I went with the chicken with rice, it taste good and delicious, better than the 1st meal. Con, no in flight entertainment TV for a 8 and a half hour flight to Dubai, seat width is not good than 17 inches, almost not enough shoulder room to share with my seatmate, legroom is not good, 30 inches (I am 5'7) when I recline, it's almost worse, no air vent (except row 66 to 68) on a 8 and a half hour flight to Dubai, making the cabin a little warm, I went to some lavatory, water for washing hands is not working (until I ask the crew to fix the broken water (it's not leaking water) for washing hands in the lavatory and it's fix) (Thanks), and instead of silverware, it's wooden spoon, fork and breadknife, which I don't like because it can break easily. I arrive in Terminal 3 at 6pm in Dubai, but my flyDubai flight depart at terminal 3 (but we have bus gate) so we follow the signs for transfer, then we go down to take the free bus shuttle from Terminal 1 to 3, it's good (Actually I ended up going upstairs to eat McDonald's because I want to try the fried chicken in the middle East, it's good and declious, spend 45 minutes to 1 hour). After we arrive in Terminal 3 in Dubai, I look for my gate for FlyDubai to Tel Aviv (departing at the very far end of the terminal, but we made it), it's a 10 to 20 minute walk and we made it. On my 2nd flight, it's my 1st time flying flyDubai to Tel Aviv, flight is a little empty, 40 passengers, also, the cabin crew tell the passengers seating in economy class are free to sit in a exit row for more legroom, which is surprising and good, considering it's a low cost airline and almost empty flight, flight is good, 3 hours, I ask the crew, do you serve free water, they said yes, so I can take many water as you want to drink, it's good.
