Before buying my new 2024 Crosstrek 2.5 Limited i had a Mini Countryman with 1.6 L turbo. In comparison to my MINI, the fuel in Subaru is much worst. In the MINI, i could hit a peak of 42 mpg on longer highway drives. Usually average around 27-30 mpg city. In the new subaru i’ve been averaging 24-26 mpg city, and best I did on highway was 33 mpg.

Side clips not nessasery to unlock when removing cabin filter door , just unlock the 2 front clips.

I found out the latest ones are NOT the same AWD system that Subaru use to make- it's NOT the SYMETRICAL awd which was actually closer to 4x4 operation- now it's front wheel bias and sends a LITTLE to the back wheels to reduce spin... IT's STILL GOOD-- but NOT as good as it use to be. I also DO NOT like CVT (certainly verified trash).. I prefer a REAL transmission.. I also don't like the way it sounds like it's going to fly apart trying to get on a freeway and not getting run over.

How is your opinion on this car on the brink of 2024? Picking up a 2019 premium and im living in Buffalo..

Thanks for this video. Had my car worked on and for so,e reason, the mechanic left a black fine tip permanent marker/pen with the cap off on my seat. Huge stain on my passenger seat fabric. Great. Hope the alcohol works on permanent marker.

Every filter is different if yours is OEM then the arrow faces up. But when you buy aftermarket from auto parts store the airflow arrow faces down ✌️

This is a great video, thank you. I'm looking at my first subaru ever 2019 Crosstrek and this video answered alot of questions. I was really looking forward to buying a Honda Ridgeline but the prices are outrageous which is causing me to look around at other vehicles like the crosstrek :)

It's 20% more horsepower at lower RPM. I love my Limited Edition in sports mode instead of intelligent drive (1 click of a physical button to switch between). I'm a city driver. The AWD makes it really "zippy" with tuner handling so good that it's a given in every Subaru TH-cam review lol

I'm planning on buying a Crosstrek and I'm confused between the 2022 Crosstrek Touring CVT and 2022 Crosstrek Outdoor CVT. Is it worth going to the Outdoor trim for the extra money or the Touring is more value for money ?

I’m confused by the air filter. Does it only filter incoming air from outside or does it filter the air inside the cabin because on the air filter cover plate there are two rubber flaps that open and bypass the air filter
