    Helldriver finished off Illuminate before which has the technology level equal to the Covenant. Not only that, the helldriver corp also incorporated Illuminate tech into their arsenal too like energy shield, plasma rifle, energy sword and most powerful of all the Singularity bombs. The second galactic war is only a summer break compare to the first. Superearth didn't even invested in military as much as the first war but even so they still hold vast amounts of high tech and highly classified technologies in their reserves waiting for the right moment to use it. If those weapons are to be unleashed... Well... I don't think the covenant will stand a chance against them Take this for example Just fire Singularity bomb at high charity and everything will be over within a second.

    the covenant have the numbers and the vehicles, helldivers arguably have more experience and a wider range of weaponary. if they had equal numbers in their fight, id say it would be a contest for sure but helldivers prob win.

    I feel one thing the helldivers have over the covenant is the fact the helldivers don’t care if they die (I don’t care if I die) so helldiver gets jumped by a few elite they give him like 10 second of free time and suddenly the 380mm barrage in the middle of all of them

    Compelling, but I am still going to put my money on the covenant. I am just not sure how things will go in such a contested space fight taking attention away from ground support.

    The hell divers are rapidly advancing in tech where the covenant don’t tend to advance too much and the hell divers themselves are a branch of a larger Military we don’t know a ton about the other branches of Seaf and what weaponry they have so I think this analysis is good for what we do know, but if there’s SEAF artillery is anything to go off of they are regularly launching icbms and cycle at arsenals at planets that while ineffective against cov cruisers and other ships would decimate their forces in the ground

    I like helldivers but i think people dont remember how strong the covenant is. Their shields are stupid strong, arguably mac cannons are some of the strongest weapons in either universe, and they are known to not have much effect. The covenant would make a massacre of their ground forces and the super destroyers. Theyd knly have a chance in soace and it would be a difficult fight since the elites are very inteligent rather than aggressive

    Keep in mind that Helldivers are the _last line of _*_offense._* It means when they are sent in, SEAF has already been peppering the enemy with whatever they could before giving up and sending the Helldivers to make some progress.

    I think that SEAF in general would pose a much greater threat to the covenant than the UNSC. The UNSC only had a population of around 40 billion, while SEF is shown to have upwards of a hundred billion despite having less colonies that the UNSC space. SEF has a more established economy, no insurrection, and significantly better tech, including an established production of plasma-based weaponry and personal shield systems, and you have a force that even the covenant would struggle to deal with because every hell diver is like a mini spartan/super ODST, and they have potentially billions of other other armed personal. Pair this with the fact that SEAF clearly have the ability to produce hundreds of thousands of ships of various sizes (From destroyers all the way to super battleships and carriers), all of witch can travel across hundreds of light years instantly for very little cost. The covenant might even think twice about traipsing into SEF space.

    I know I will be called undemocratic heretic and be reported to the ministry of truth, but the Covies would absolutly steam roll us. Why? We are bound by our orbital dominance to be effective, without the super destroyers we lose most of our advantage. And the Covenant has a navy that would anihilate all Helldiver ships in an instant. Sorry to say, we would not stand a chance.

    There is a line that I haven’t seen anyone mention, if you interact with the weapons officer aboard your super destroyer, there’s a chance she says something along the lines of “there’s enough ordinance on this super destroyer to destroy a small moon” and there are millions of these super destroyers. Not only that but the super destroyer is a relatively small faction of the SEAF navy

    Not sure if this was added, but the Orbital Railcannon strike sounds and acts like what a MAC in the Halo series does. So that could even the odds on getting rid of the Covenant naval shields during combat.

    Keeping the covenant moneychaffed is something folks in comments seem to be forgetting. Covi ships can also go invisible, have supreme navigation and will 100% glass any opponent that is in their way... Unless of course that opponent is on a 'relic' world, like earth… I think Helldivers could put up an ok fight with ground support, however their air superiority would be threatened immediately by the covenant, and the battles likely wouldn't last too too long. Especially if we look at the covenant during the reach invasion. Honestly, I think Helldivers as specialized task forces would do a million times better being deployed on covi ships highjacking and breaking them than they would be on the ground. More diver space combat is something I yearn for more and more. I enjoyed the video, a few things about the lore did feel glossed over, for example the fact that plasma weapons in actual Halo lore are pretty much a 1 tap to just about everything infantry wise. A lil append here; Note: The covenant likely have wayyyyyy less ships than the SEAF, but I would at any point argue that Covie ships are vastly more powerful, with covenant ships needing to destroy about 10 ships each in order to trade kills.(Also important to note Halo does not fully disclose all fleet information either, but we know covenant ships likely numbered in well over several thousand

  • @monstermon7266
    @monstermon7266 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The covenant would win because even though super earth is very powerful, we barely see them using ships that can actually fight in space. Even if Super Earth has combat capable ships, the weaponry is not that impressive as shown in the games. Just because they can destroy a small moon doesn’t mean they can destroy a ship, especially since their ships are pretty small.

    I think this is hard because in Halo, the whole thing is that the Covenant are op, but like the Helldivers are 10x stronger than the UNSC at least. At this point, they are kinda fighting wars just to stay entertained. That shows how crazy and militarily powerful they are, they don't have real enemies to fight. The automatons were their creation and they could probably wipe them all out if they wanted, same for the terminids. Then now they are also fighting the Illuminate. Imagine the UNSC fighting the Covenant, Flood, and Insurgents all at the same time, not only that but winning against them all. Its not even close.

  • @benmalatin5237
    @benmalatin5237 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I feel like SEAF is nearly identical to the UNSC minus spartans which both in-game and in-lore were the main deciding factor in most battles as well as the war at large. You could argue General Brasch is probably on a similar level to Master Chief, but the general lack of super soldiers in SEAF means that Elites & Brutes would be pretty unmatched on the battlefield. I still think SEAF has a chance, but without any spartan equivalent to answer elites & brutes they’re going to have a much harder time than the UNSC did.

    I’ve always seen Super Earth as a human version of the covenant, so I think a stalemate is the most likely outcome. What the covenant has in superior technology, Super Earth has overwhelming numbers and overwhelming firepower. Not to mention that Super Earth has far superior technology than the humans did during the Covenant War. And even then, the humans still won.

    While we don't know the exact scale of Super Earth's navy, it seems to me that they've never really been contested in terms of space superiority. It seems to me that Super Destroyers aren't meant for ship-to-ship combat. They're designed specifically to provide support to Helldivers. So they probably aren't what will be primarily engaging the Covenant ships.

  • @vadeemrerogi

    Im going to have to side with the Covies on this. If you're taking both Faction at their prime, I'd think the covies would win. Why? Well they were shit stomping the UNSC for the entire War. The Only reason they lost was because of John Halo Himself having Plot armor. The covenant control a very wide area of space. "At the height of its power, the Covenant encompassed thousands of systems." As per Halopedia. Meanwhile a lot of the sources Ive seen, Including the Games themselves. Super-Earth has maybe a hundred or two at most. Which is Important when thinking of these things. Sure, SE might be able to *Fight* the covies on an Even footing, they just cant *Produce* On an even footing. Covenant is just to big.

    I give the covenant a couple of weeks against super earth, a month if super earth somehow doesn't use the other ship types they have in their fleet to deal with them. And yes, they do have other ships, we know that because the super destroyer is considered a "small combat vessel" in the lore and they wouldn't call it that if they didn't have anything bigger.

    Ngl, Covenant would absolutely stomp in the space war. It was a 3:1 ratio on average, with ships like the CAS or heaven forbid the CSO being nearly impregnable to the UNSC(save for select few circumstances). We saw a covenant corvette(smaller than frigate) punch straight through a civilian evacuation ship that was 90 meters long in one shot, it would be a turkey shoot for all covenant gunnery chiefs during a space battle. I think we are also forgetting that the Covenant was not prepared for war when they made contact with the UNSC. The Covenant was made from the disastrous war between the San'shyuum and the Sanghelii around 852 BC, everything else was fairly minor save for the Ungoy rebellion which was still squashed. They essentially were de-militarized by the time they met the UNSC, which is already leagues ahead of Super Earth's potential navy in terms of firepower. The only thing a Super Destroyer could reasonably lob at a covenant ship is the railgun or orbital laser, both of which are far less destructive than even the smallest MAC the UNSC had. Any ground battle in the Halo universe between the UNSC and the Covenant was because the Covenant really wanted the Forerunner artifacts beneath the ground without turning them into hulking piles of slag metal. If we look at lore accurate Covenant ground forces as well, an unshielded target would be melted through by just one shot from an uncharged plasma pistol, which would usually maim if not outright kill the target. The Covenant were also known for orbital bombardment, just like Helldivers, just look at Reach when the Covenant were providing fire support for troops on Sword Base. Not only would the SEAF and Helldivers have the tables turned on them from the Covenant taking air and space superiority, they would be able to breed the grunts to an uncontrollable level and unleash them onto whatever god forsaken planet they want to overrun. With the Illuminate out, imagine how much more deadly an Illuminate Brute would be if it had the jetpack ability of its overseer counterpart, the plasma rifle as well, but without the need to wait for it to cool down, the energy shield of a warp ship, and the ability to cloak like a stalker. That's what facing against an Elite is like for Super Earth troops, except the Brute has its spawn rate quadrupled and its intelligence is much higher compared to what we see now. We also know that EVERY Elite comes with cloaking, as in Halo 2 we learn that every new model of armor for the last few hundred years at least has had some form of cloaking ability, with the newest models being able to cloak indefinitely. Super Earth doesn't stand a chance against the Covenant so long as we aren't handicapping the Covenant. I mean, GLORY FOR SUPER EARTH!!!!! TL;DR: I gushed about how overwhelming the covenant would be for Super Earth with obviously no bias whatsoever.

    Lol not Super Earth would put up a decent fight but when it comes to Space battles the UNSC at its peak could barely scrape by with massive casualties. Land battles were easier but still with massive casualties. Considering Super Earth has superior untested technology that is prone to harming and killing their own users as well. The Covenant would wipe the floor with Super Earth

    Not sure how big of an effect this would have on a war between these two, but the entire war fought between the UNSC and the Covenant was the UNSC against a mere 3 ministries of the Covenant, those ministries all being really, _really_ small in comparison to the majority of ministries, and it was mostly 1 of the Ministries, with some minor support from the other 2. There's like at least 20 ministries. All of them larger, more powerful, etc than the 3 involved in the war. And those 20 are only the ones humanity knows about. Again, not sure how big of an effect this would have, but the UNSC was on the brink of losing against this mere fraction of the Covenant, and only won because the Master Chief managed to find and blow up literally 1 of the 7 most important objects to the Covenant Faith, which eventually led to the entire Elite species plus large portions of other species from _all_ ministries turning against the Covenant after The Great Schism, which _significantly_ reduced the Covenants military and strategic power, both due to all the Elites, Grunts, Jackals, Hunters, etc that rebelled, _and_ due to all the Brutes, Grunts, Jackals, Hunters etc that didn't survive the Schism. If the Covenant had actually put in the effort, the only way humanity would've survived would've been praying for the Covenant to never find Earth, because if they did their only hope would be some ridiculous feat of downright Herculean tenacity, something bonkers like Chief somehow managing to jump from ship to ship slowly blowing up the countless ships that make up the entire Covenant Fleet, all before they can just destroy Earth.

    While I think the super earth forces have a lot more going for them than the UNSC, I think the covenant's naval tactics and superiority would just allow the to sweep most of the human colonies similarly to how they did with the UNSC colonies. They just glass planets and I think they would deplete super earth's resources faster than they could adapt, especially if they come in from the bug side. Super earth, at least to me, seems like they rely pretty heavily on their colonies resources like the E-710 farms. The covenant attack would cut off their resources permanently and I think they would be pretty cooked.
