looking in California, feeling Minnesota.
No matter the recording or cast, I can't help but turn to this song whenever I cry. Growing up is too much for me to bear, and I have a playlist on Spotify where I have four different recordings of this song. I know that growing up is a journey you must travel by yourself, but you must always know: even if you walk alone in the woods, for better or worse, you'll never be truly alone, even in the darkest parts of the woods.
god she's just incredible. She can't write a bad song, I'm convinced
Both amazing voices
Great quality video! Did you get hands off my body?
Holy fuck. This has me literally in tears. Cornell's music has been the soundtrack to my life since i discovered Audioslave as a young teenager. And then subsequently Soundgarden, TOTD, and so much other music that avalanched from the discovery of a niche in a generation.... Stapleton and Brandi fucking killed it... It brought me back to to the emotions that I thought only Cornell could invoke...
Honestly, the way she looks at Cheyenne is the same way all women and gay men look at Cheyenne.
I've seen three or four productions of Into The Woods. I truly wish this were one of those! WOW!!
Chris Cornell has made the biggest impact of any celebrity in my life I still hurt because of his loss
This chick just gave me a spiritual feeling covering my celebrity idol
She was perfect for this role
The costumes man, they are perfect. Except Jacks headwear lol sorry Gaten you still rocked
What I would have given for a duet by the Chrises
Shanice is just beautiful, she really made this song hit home in new ways for me and I've been listening to it for half my life.
BRAVA! That was wonderful. She really brought herself to the role, something all these parts really need if they're going to shine. Great job and God bless 🙏👏🏽
I fucking love Ball and the Mormons.
Porgy and coalhouse!!❤❤
Boggess as Cinderella here and the Baker are flat with no legato. Boggess breathy warbly short phrased and singing the wrong notes in this very tricky show gets away with murder. Sadly she sounds incredibly messy here and has been flailing for years beaming her way out of it. Also the direction was just awful with " Jack, your mother's dead" delivered like a a box at your door. Absurd. The audience was laughing in the wrong places as well. A tough show not for silly performers. The Red Riding Hood was incredible in this production however.
She sounds fine 🙄
Skylar and Sierra are PHENOMENAL
Beautiful performances... I wish I had seen this. Tell me there's a full video recording and/or a cast recording somewhere.
Is there a full recording of this somewhere?
Do you have a full version of this production?
I was wondering the same thing...
He really reminds me of Richard Kiley here. He's spectacular!
WOW!! Absolutely beautiful!
Superb acting, incredible vocals.
DAMN.
what fng talent. love some sutton.
"The choice may have been mistaken/the choosing was not/you have to move on". Whenever I begin to dwell on bad choices from my past these words always come into my head. Thank you, Stephen Sondheim. And thank you God for the loan.
Great song! Thanks for visiting!
Great show! Thanks for visiting!
There is literally nothing Chris Stapleton can't sing!!!! Beautiful tribute!!!!!
It’s impressive how this man manages to bend his very blessed voice into that of an old man while keeping it beautiful and vibrant
Best version I've seen since Pamela Myers
WOW!!!!!!!
Wow! She is incredible!
Sure wish I'd been there!
thank you for posting!! Was at the show and this stole my breath away!
Can we please have a production of Sunday with Skylar and Sierra? thank you
Amen!
Close your eyes and I swear you'll hear (a young) Mandy Patinkin. I knew this kid could sing but this is amazing.
Chills
I think this is a new arrangement/combo of these 2 songs
I've seen this medley performed before, though I can't recall where.
Full embodiment of Sweeney - musically & character - at a concert performance, no less!
Be still, my heart! Two of my favorite singers; singing delicious Sondheim.
Did the movie or the stage show cone first?
Stage show
Nothing honest in this performance at all. Quite disappointing. It's. A shame a song that has the ability to evoke emotion from the singer and for the audience is wasted with over-dramatization and over singing.
CHRISTINE DAAE!!!!!!!
Shoshana Bean is an absolute talent So much fun
Oh Michael - every time - after all these years you still astound me. Thank you so much!!!
Other than the original, of course, this is the probably the best performance of this song I’ve ever heard/seen. Such a thoughtful performance and the singing just effortless. 👍🏼👍🏼

I saw Matt on drums, Jeff on Bass but I didn't see if Mike or Stone were there playing. I'm assuming they were. It must be so hard for them to play this, especially at that time.
