Man I love those stepped Rockerverb knobs. Completely removes the possibility of endless obsessive microadjustments.

Maybe test the 5-6kHz theory by filtering it out from the input signal, then also listen to only that signal. Maybe also try to match them with a normal guitar EQ like a Boss EQ-7 or MXR 10 band. And lastly I was wondering if a sine sweep could be used to find some self resonance frequencies.

Absolute fantastic. Though maybe the eq comparison could be done by diffing between speakers or to some baseline (average?). It's much easier to see the differences when the graph isn't so wavy.

To my ears and liking, better than the V30. Perhaps it's a G12H Heritage Series, despite the part number? BTW, the G12H 70th Anniversary Special Edition (that's the whole sentence nobody would dare to say) is usually called just G12H Anniversary (like Celestion does in their own website) or G12H 30. It's the Vintage Series (more words in the name) version of the original G12H Greenback, until the Heritage Series one appeared (now discontinued), which came in two versions depending on your resonance frequency of choice, so people would call it the G12H Heritage 55 or 75, the Greenback H 55 or 75, and so on.

Why is your level for the preamp volume so high shouldn't it be like at 4 or 4.5 not 7 just my thought
