My channel is mostly content centered around racing and building cars.
You can follow my builds on Instagram & TikTok @markiv_garage
As far as upload schedule I try to upload videos as often as I can usually at least one every week or two but some videos like mod installs + reviews are pretty expensive to do and the channel is still small so I'll just be getting things up when I can, thanks for watching!

Hey so I’m thinking about buying a ktuner just because it’s cheaper and better for what I want to do with my car but was wondering how to tune and what to do for tunes since I only have a takeda short ram and a muffler delete just ordered a jpipe too but that’s all for now my question is what is the best thing to do as far as tuning and could you make a vid explaining what to do I’m kinda of confused when it comes to all this stuff thanks Edit: i should of also said just really looking forward to getting the 93 tube and speed limiter removed then once get the jpipe and hfpc do whatever tuning to get most power
okay bro so first off do you have a laptop? cus if you do i would not reccomend ktuner there is a method to do it cheaper and better, and do you have an IG or something we can private message on? at this point my tunes are kind of confidential i've been asked to not share too much info but i'd definitely help you out in a less private setting.
A dude with a pony tail and out of breath talking mad shit on instagram… who would have guessed…
Lamo gay!!!
NO WAY THERE IS A TH-cam VIDEO ON THIS PIECE OF SHIT KIA.
How much is for everything on that list? This car recently became my top spec car to get next. love the look.
intake is $300~, rv6 highflow precats $800, rv6 longtube jpipe $500, Ktunerv2 is $650 but if you have a laptop you can get a honda tuning suite license for $200 and use that, wheels/tires depends what you want but expect $1500-$2000 so anywhere from $3300-$4250
@@MarkIV_Garage Thank you very much. that color is dope AF also.
how did you get the red glow around your speedometer? I also have a 2014 honda accord 3.5l v6 and it unfortunately doesnt have that but it looks so goodf
Which exhaust is this?
borla
If I do the same I go out in second gear, did you do anything for that?
Worlds fastest 0-60
And you didn't lift the hood once during the whole video
One of the best sounding j series cars on here
I just subscribed. 😎 2014 Coupe V-6 Owner Here. It's pretty quick in sport mode. What is a K Tuner?
How many seconds?
I own the 99 base model and all I did was install headers, cold air intake and stage 2 cam and new springs. One of the biggest advantages of the second gen j series because they still used traditional exhaust ports unlike the log style ports Honda started using in 2004.
@@oldskolacura9798 2nd Gen is monoport as well, yours is actually a first generation j
Clean build bro I got a Honda accord 2011 3.5L v6 I just know I would’ve been mad seeing you take off on me 😭
think about how chargers and Zs feel when it happens to them 😅
I have a 14 V6 auto with 6 speed I bought the car quickly because my old car needed a trans. after having my Accord a few days I was shocked at the power I've since flushed coolant ,partial change of trans fluid ,I did ngk iridium plugs and coil packs myself.I really like the car. Many years ago the big thing was getting it off the line and and blowing someone's doors off that is what I may do sometimes high speed can be deadly and it can change lives.
its hard to make these fast off the line, FWD + open diff, you need big sticky tires and good suspension
@MarkIV_Garage yes I chirp and spin the wheels this car more than any it was learning curve ,the problem is the engine has plenty of torque but the real problem is the 1st gear gearing size it's like a stump pulling gear on a farm tractor if it were geared longer it would transmit the power to the pavement .
What type of brakes and calipers do you recommend upgrading too? I have a stock Honda accord and I want to mod it however I the previous owner left the car without service and I want to replace the front and rear brake pads and upgrade all of that? Do you recommend anything? Thank you
I just did stock calipers, stock size but drilled + slotted rotors, and carbon ceramic pads. light wheels + other weight reduction will help it stop too.
I miss my K24W1 in the I4. That thing sounded gross, but it crackled and popped more than the V6 ever did. It naturally did from around 2200-3300 RPM, but tuning it kinda stabilized it and stopped it from popping naturally haha. The V6 however, I had it tuned, and it would have a “pop” tune that would gunshot after 5-6k. Didn’t feel safe running it though, but it was fun once in a while. Not sure the auto J35Y1 can do that though
@@isnowyazn any car can do pops & flames it's just fuel cut
Dude, trust me, it took me with TONS of mods, even with fuel upgrades (no ethanol), to barely even hang with a 392 Scatpack (FBO, no tune). A really modified RT will absolutely catch the fade
Lolol open diff one wheel peeler
Whose car was at the end? Was that a boosted 9th gen V6 manual coupe?
@@isnowyazn that was a boosted 9gen v6 automatic
You should probably really get a velocity stack screen for that….
Get a 3 inch single exit catback !
Them Ole honda v6 get down
Fast
Love the vids keep them coming. Hook me up with some tunes for J35y1 thanks
This is a race among the Ford fiesta community. They race stoplight to stoplight. Tried racing me, my car not warmed up yet, pussied out and didn't go on the hwy with me 😂😂.
My dream car since 87.
Enkie raijin❤
Do I have to do a 3rd cat delete if I get a rv6 j pipe?
Dyno results say yes
@ but technically it can be installed without a cat delete
The legend GNX 💯❤
I just got my own 2017 accord touring coupe v6, I want to get it as quick as possible while making best bang for your buck purchases. What do you recommend? How much horsepower will the Ktuner actually add?
It’s pretty neglible with the preset 91 octane (or 93), unless you really modify the car with serious things like fuel system upgrades, and an upgraded engine head package, lightweight pulleys, etc. Idk if you’d consider doing all of that for a daily driver… Even then, it’s at the mercy of the factory 6-speed auto; which in my opinion, absolutely kills the performance, and there’s no available upgrades… Those also tend to have issues when beat on, so they have to be maintained METICULOUSLY. I changed my trans fluid with every engine oil change or so, as well as the in-line trans filter (not well known) when I first got a 9th gen 6AT Accord V6. I say to just do the typical full bolt-on (FBO) package with IHE (intake, headers, exhaust), and then disable VCM in Ktuner, as well as turning the shift settings to tune #2(?) (max setting). That’s really about it, unless you proceed to a custom tune; which again, won’t really do a whole ton. You can absolutely break ~300 WHP if custom tuned with at least all the things in this video, but consider for practicality if needed, as aforementioned.
Hey bro I’m looking for modifie my 2015 Honda accord coupe EXL. What are you suggest?
Get out
Nice vid
The 6 speed automatics on the 9th accord is so much better than the 5 speed that came in the 8th gen accord
Don’t slack on maintenance. The 6AT is better, but has just as many issues if you don’t change the fluid and in-line filter. Once the torque converter starts having issues though, that’s it… You’ll be on borrowed time.
@@isnowyaznhow do you know the torque converter is going bad
@@JaboiZon It starts having shuddering issues, which is kinda specific tbh. I don’t think it’s an issue with slipping gears from clutch packs getting burnt up, but there’s been cases where more complications arise when the torque converter is jacked up
Oneday i will be the same lol
You didn't even go... immediately let off
gotta launch at high rpms say like 3000 rpms, and feel that the front wheels r moving then u push into the throttle. he hit it before you did on the second run it seemed like.
