Castille Soap is a product derived from Olives ... basically a gentile Organic Natural foaming agent which helps lift dirt and wash it away (due to its natural Glycerine).... I first found this soap as a garden insect ( SpiderMite) remover for plants due to its gentile nature can be applied diluted to plant leaves. It has a somewhat greasy/oily feel to it and would therefore I assume be good for maintaining shoe leather during cleaning. It also has a near Neutral PH.👍

I have a pair but the reverse swoosh is in the same place in both shoes I think it’s fake.

So, there's one thing I don't understand: soap attaches to fat/oil and enables it to "dissolve" into water. Now, why would you reduce the effect of the the soapy bit already by mixing with oil up front and reduce the ability to attach to the grime? Why not use soap first, rinse, then apply jojoba & coconut oil?

Free-hand the glue on the upper. Dont bother with tape, i know you can do it, youre a gifted restorer. Its a good skill to have and start working on improving until you master it.

So let me get this straight: you painted the suede. After the paintjob it was was hard so you sanded it down all throughout the upper?

Jesus Christ bro, good job! Closest thing I've done to this is partially take out the midsole stitching in my orange lobs cuz it came wonky from the factory. I bought a sewing awl and prayed to God I didn't screw up my $500+ pair but it turned out great. Seeing stuff like this inspires me to take on more ballsy projects.
