As for the scanner issue, what exactly is the problem you are experiencing? In order to resolve your issue as quickly as possible, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with your SN as well as your log. which scanner are you using? Currently Raptor does not support scanning with cell phones, but we expect to be able to scan with cell phones in the next release. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

@@Creality3DScanner There is no problem with the scanner. I am NOT trying to scan with my cell phone. You really need to learn English. The entire issue with the phone is regarding the screen mirroring to the phone. I'm referring to when the phone is attached to the back of the bridge handle and you can see the computer screen on your phone. All of the scanning feedback disappears. You cam see the scan but you can't tell if you are too close or too far away. You also cannot tell when you lose tracking because it never says. This is ONLY when using the phone on the bridge. Not when using only the notebook.

@@Creality3DScanner I'm continuing to get email questions about my printer's serial number. I don't even own a Creality printer. Your people don't seem to know a Raptor X is a scanner. You guys really need to get it together because I'm completely loosing faith. I know a person considering buying a Raptor X and I'm warning him not to because of the support being so bad.

Hi! The RaptorX is available in 7 parallel laser lines mode as well as 34 cross laser lines mode. The video uses RaptorX's 34 cross laser lines mode.

@@Creality3DScanner Sorry I solved it by cleaning the USB port with a needle, cotton and a little alcohol. Some fluff came out and now the connector clicks well and the app works

You don't need a scanner to do that! Shapes and structures can be recreated pretty easily using measurements with a vernier caliper and CAD like Fusion360 and SolidWorks. They have free licenses for home makers! 3d printers are not so expensive nowadays so if you can get one and learn basic CAD you get a whole world of possibilities

How accurate is this tool? Because in the industrial way some parts for cars for example are very precise and its measurements go down to microns.

@Creality3DScanner thanks for reaching out but it still doesn't change the fact that the issues with it, everyone is having. Google it. The cr touch will not work when hooked up to the board. Has to be wired separately, and the cr touch need to have the off sets re set as it goes off the print bed. And the cr touch is at almost the exact same hight as the print nozzle. I have to take apart the whole print head to make the cr touch have enough play in its brackets to give it more clearence. It would run into the print........

My Samsung S10 does the trick. An old Xiaomi M1 does not. The android version seems to be the bottleneck.

Yes it's true; marker hole filling, points optimize, best fit, mesh optimize etc etc.. Shining software better than it. But I trust creality software's team, I hope they fixing all problems and that will do development it. The most problem is: if you scanning (etc) pipe similar part and must 3 scan it, the scanning mesh's ends, it is changing dimensions.

There was no difference in the size of the models scanned by the two scanners.

@ For a piece of this size, is there much difference in precision in the final mesh?

Metro X is not ready for prime time, it has serious data aquisition problems, you have lot of beams but very weak intensity and point cloud capture takes forever. Raptor is way faster, would be interesting to see but Raptor would win
