I can never understand why Punters get so carried away with HYPE, talking about what a great race the Run To The Rose is, It is pure unadulterated Hype, it's a BABY race, it would never happen in any other form of entertainment or Sport, ONLY in racing do we ignore the real stars(to a certain extent) and carry on about the "babies", like a seinfeld episode, "YA GOT TA SEE THE BABY" they are ALL never was's and most will end their careers that way, no one knows how good they are and even more important no one knows how BAD they are either, if one or two of them do turn out to be any good, they will be retired long before this time next year....because they cannot afford to have their stud value diminished, Look at all the top sprinters, From I Wish I Win, Giga Kick, Bella Nipotina etc, The go back to Nature Strip, Eduardo, Hay List and even the great Black Caviar, how many were great 2 year olds? NONE.....and yet we fall into this total BS every year talking about how great these just turned 3 year old babies, they are babies that have only raced against BABIES!!
Lets wait till they put the runs on the board before we c*m in our pants fawning over them, how long has it been since a great 2 year old has become a great older horse?
this is NOT about just your show, I heard Dufficy saying baby will be the races of the Spring, makes me want to Puke....it is an interesting race but that's about all
Give me Pride Of Jenni, Mr Brightside, Via Sistina, Atishu etc any day over baby races.....and they're not even our babies🤣🤣🤣🤣
