Have you played The Indigo Parallel? It's like LSD Dream Emulator but modern with some twists. I also subscribed to your channel, keep making videos :P
No I haven't I'll add that to the list 👌. And I haven't given up I just had a bit of a rough patch with some illnesses and a really bad back injury that put me out for months. After so long out it's so hard to get back in the flow again ha. And I'm trying to transition styles a little bit to add a little bit of on camera into the mix. But I've got 3 scripts done and I'm working on the edit for a vid at the mo. Hopefully get these 3 out before Xmas. Anyway cheers for subbing 🙏
Overall I liked the video, because there's like no content on DW, but this was very superficial You also got a buuuunch of wrong info from most of the games
I need to figure out how to play my old PS2 discs on my PC, cause I have such an URGE to replay TS2 and TS FP again!
Difficulty has nothing to do with it being a Japanese only game, your thoughts on games getting dumbed down for Western releases is also a huge misconception. While Mario 2 and Final Fantasy 4 are pretty infamous for their changes, a vast majority of games were actually made harder for their western releases not easier. In Japan game rentals became illegal, so they didn't have to focus on people beating games from rentals stores in a weekend impacting their sales. There are even multiple cases of US games being made easier for their Japanese release in the 90s (Ecco the Dolphin, Bug for a few examples)
I too had a GameCube and love wrestling 😊. This is my childhood and I love Day of Reckoning 1s gameplay but DoR 2s visuals were amazing
There were aspects of tobal No 1 that are still not in games today, the way a block has such a physics based result and the leg or arm of the attack bounces off and moves differently from you , that is the opportunity to counter , grabbling had chains of counters like Mexican wrestling it was SO good if you knew how
"sometimes games dont click whith you when you first play them" 100% yes.... I played Darksouls 1 when it first came out and hated it (luckily it was a friend's copy so I didn't waste my money) and Black Myth Wukong made me want to re-try the Souls like genre, and Im now 160 hours into Darksouls 1 Remastered -.-" on a side note, that Metaletamon walk.... it just screams the Deo "OOHH... YOUR APPROCHING ME?!?!" walk
Metaletemon got that swagger
I actually bypassed 3. I had played 2 (hated it) and wasn't expecting much. Plus the teddy bear on the cover... didn't want him.
Future Perfect was the last game my brother and I really played together. He was getting older at the time, and he was kinda loosing interest in games in general. But man, we played Future Perfectly religiously. Some of my favorite memories I have with my brother. …about a year ago, my brother passed. And now I’m raising my nephew. Luckily, that little dude absolutely loves the Time Splitters games. We play those games almost every day. And we always have a blast doing it. I hope my nephew will look back and cherish these memories. Just like I do with the memories I have playing these games with his dad. Rest in peace Scott. I love you.
I'm sorry to hear that I lost my sister when I was younger so I know how it is. I have so many memories of playing video games with her too. Thanks for sharing mate
@ thank you for the kind words. My condolences to you and your family. Losing loved ones is never easy.
You can’t romance romance her as female rip
I'm ever a game deserved a remaster it's this
One of my favorites. I miss good turn based games like this. Mastering the swing-meters was the key. There are a lot of abilities I never took because they swing meters for them were too difficult to pull off.
Yeah same sometimes I'd use a technically weaker move because I can pull off the swing meter reliably
King chain throws always anger my dad and Zangief’s grabs always anger my cousins. Did you also know that Triceratops can impale a T.Rex? Fun video BTW.
Knights of the Old Republic is BioWare's best game. But DA:O is pretty darn good!
As a Digimon Anime Fan. I HATED the Digimon World Series. Except for World 4. The odd one out. The Diablo one lmao. Played the hell out of it with my Cousin. But after growing up and reading the different Mangas and learning about the Digimon History... i realized...damn. I was the dumb Fan who had no idea what Digimon actually was lol Long Story short. I always loved the Digimon Franchise, i always will be. But maaaaan. Why are 90% of the games sooooo boring lmao. Edit: No. The game does scale for Players. Y'all just sucked at it lmao. But for real. The one time we played with 4 people we got our asses kicked pretty bad lol
27:03 Oh no its not just you emulator. I had that problem on original hardware too. The blue square loading for maps even got slower at points so sometimes I couldn't even see where I was going. It's what ultimately made me stop playing as a kid.
One thing I never hear someone reviewing Digimon World 2 is that it pretty much became the blueprint for the future Digimon Story series. It was touched on briefly comparing Digimon World 2 to Cyber Sleuth but pretty much all the Digimon Story games get their game play from Digimon World 2. 3 Digimon Teams, traveling through dungeons. Only things that really changed was: No more Digi Beetle, you can actually see the requirements for the different evolutions, if you meet the requires for multiple digivolutions you can pick which one you want and, they got rid of the level cap. So not only is their no more need to DNA Digivolve, but it makes that mechanic more like the show.
I grew up playing the first Digimon world, although I'm not really good at it, hearing the new version of File city theme really hits me in the feels.
th-cam.com/video/kBv29mBpM4s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=81iYMTm8TJxzBiy-&t=1936 ....me to
this game is so much replayability compared to UE5 games lol
Just about two minutes in, and you've hit me with a Plinkett AND Alex Jones soundbite. The AJ and Dr.Cortex merge was just... *chefs kiss Target audience reached.
Shale isn't multiple people, Shale is a woman.
I'm pretty late to this, so you may already know, but I just wanted to point out that the Operation Decode petition was not all for nothing. While their initial goal of getting the 3DS game localized didn't pan out, they eventually transitioned their goal to getting future Digimon games localized, as Decode was several years old, and Cyber Sleuth was the new hot thing. Bandai actually acknowledged the petition, and said that if it got a certain number of signatures, they would discuss the possibility of localization again. The petition quickly passed the target, and not long after, Cyber Sleuth was announced for western release. It was a low budget localization, ported to PS4 because even Bandai knew a Vita exclusive would be DoA in the west. It was basically just a market test, and the fact that we later got Next Order, Hackers Memory, and Survive as well shows that it was a success. So it took a while (even Cyber Sleuth was about a year old in Japan before the western release), and they had to move their goal post, but the Operation Decode petition was quite successful.
What I find hilarious is that because both versions of Re-Digitize never made it to America, Rina and Mirei from the 3DS port showing up in Cyber Sleuth is a delightful cameo that no western players would get
2:32 lmao
I too am an Etemon enjoyer by the way! Best boy hands down
Again! In Digimon world Redigitized the game with the lines and the bombs is an Amitakuji like the Centaurmon puzzle was in Digimon World 1. If you know how they work you'll win 100% of the time. That was my favorite training equipment because it was so easy.
So I gotta say the Centaurmon part is NOT random. It's an Amidakuji a Japanese game popular with children. The hint is in the name and the fact it shows you the ends first and then pans down. As long as you always turn when you come to a crossroads, Centaurmon won't shoot you. This mechanic's solution is probably lost on westerners who aren't familiar with the game.
Not that much of a fighting game fan, but I remember playing Tekken 3 a lot back in the day and liking it. I also have Dragon Ball Final Bout and yeah, it is not good. 😅 I saw your video of Destrega on the other channel a couple of years ago and I found it very interesting. Maybe one day I will try it. Anyway, great video as always. 😄
While I wouldn't say it's the best in the series, World 4 isn't too bad once you get past the initial grind. As you use your weapons and spells, you'll gain tech points which make you more proficient in their use. Once you reach certain break points, you'll start hitting enemies more often than being blocked, and you'll have access to stronger weaponry and spells. I find it a lot more enjoyable than World 2, but that's a low bar to jump. On the note of multiplayer, the game actually becomes progressively more difficult the more players your have, first by adding additional enemies for second player, and increasing their health with the third and fourth player, never mind the harder difficulties you unlock for beating the game on the previous difficulty. For digivolutions, you get the first by reaching lvl16 and it is one of the other starters based on the one you picked. In this way, you can get each starter to use as they each unlock each other in a cycle. Sadly, you have to treat this digivolved form as a separate digimon, starting at level 1 again, but each one can be swapped to at the same place you swap weapons at. Leveling up individually, each form will retain whatever level you get it to, both actual level and tech points. Still doesn't measure up to the original though.
Aww.... I actually liked Digimon world 4.. it may have been because I only played it with my brother and I was really young, but I had fun
there is a toilet in the gym the whole time
kotor?
Bring back Gladius.
Digimon world re digitize is one of my favorite games. Glad there is a fan translation
The fact that you said that the card battle in Digimon World 3 doesn't require strategy and not fun means you have not really played the card game
Best quality of life improvement in new order, a bathroom inside of the gym. Goated.
Jade empire needs a remake I’ll die happy after that
It's so underrated
@@sharpdressedgoblin that game is the reason I love games it was my first experience with that game type and I never looked back
I still instinctively piss my pants at hearing "THE MOOSE IS LOOSE"
If only they'd remaster 2 and Future Perfect. It was my all time FPS growing up with a gamecube. Playing late night with my brother. These games will always have a special place in my heart.
a guy beat the game with numemon i just watched a vieo about it
Bruh two comments "Piximon and it's 5% spawn chance" I call BULL SHIT I spent multie in game day trying to find this guy the second time I lost the first time because I forgot to heal. Got it the in the 3rd round . Digimon world 4 difficulty boils down to 2 things you need to make it easy - group of 4 ppl with a decent lvl of communication and cooperation -a decent lvl of well willingness to grind for around 24 hours once you unlock your healing skill with lvl 20-25 visit the field dungeon spam heal you have a team with mega heal skil . . .get a guilmon with mega buff and debuff and you will run the game over like an 18wheeler XD ( but that is a potential 30 hour grind session in total. Also grind gun skill for certain parts in the game around 1000 should be enough. . . .in hindsight I suddenly understand my patience for the dark souls games XD
Oh so that explains why our "copies" in the UK kept bugging out and launching in black and white most of the time, it wasn't PAL.
I want a 1 to 1 remake of the original but with more
I'm so glad to hear that in the newest game, battling is eventually better than the gym. I loved the concept of the first game, but I was severely let down how I could never get anything but the worst results out of one of the training mini games.
I just bought it for my Xbox series x. We used to play the hell out of it back in the day.
21:25 Damn Myotismon got no chill
