I could argue with you all day. New cars are needlessly expensive and you pay for things that are almost completely useless. New cars are much more unreliable than old cars. New cars don't have the capability of old cars, even suvs like the subaru forester doesn't have a hitch and most cars are awd now instead of 4wd. There are no affordable new cars anymore, and the cheapest ones are almost useless. Every new car has an old alternative that is better in every way, yes, even safety and comfort.

I HATE how quickly facelifts are done. It should be 5 years minimum before a facelift. That way most responsible people will have at least been able to pay off their current vehicles and make a wiser choice in whether or not to "upgrade" or not.

Someome already said it but emissions. To be more exact: emissions are relatively looser for bigger cars compared to smaller cars. If we assume a starting value of emissions of 10 for any car produced, and a small car must meet emissions at 11, very difficult to do. If a twice the size must meet emissions at 15, it is relatively much easier to do. And you can charge relatively more for a bigger car compared to a smaller one, plus it is much more cost effective to hybridize a bigger, more expensive car than a small cheap car. That's why manufacturers are killing off their small models and replacing them with SUVs.

im sorry but this video is verry upsetting. anything can be improved. ferrari makes the best cars they feasibly can and push them further for those who need it. they dont make half baked cars to sell you the rest later, that what modern manufacturers do. these limited edition versions are what they can do with less restraints like time money other numbers. then when drivers want some more they add what they can. you want a perfect car, get one of the big 5.

anyone who thinks anything negative about you getting a 430 is not someone who should concern you. I totally agree, Crossovers are a scam, I have seen many that have less space than regular Sedans/Hatchbacks I wouldn't buy a Crossover over a Sedan/Hatch. But even then Crossovers are not bad at all, I have driven many and they are mostly fine :) Also, I do believe SUVs have their place in the world, sure, I would prefer to have smaller and lighter cars that would pollute less, but SUVs are good enough and dynamic enough for our every day needs :) I, for one, would really like a Lamborghini Urus since I love Lambos and the Urus IS a Lambo daily driver. So yeah :)

That f430 spider you described is literally my dream Ferrari, spwnt hours driving one in that spec in the original test drive unlimited, on another note though you cant really blame manufacturers, its just the way society currently is due to capitalism and prioritizing profit margins for the stock market over the actual quality of their product. Like you alluded to, cars like mercedes used to be "luxury" because of their high build quality and durability, now they're luxury because of their tech features and statistics, its not really the manufacturers fault, thats just what sells, and at the end of the day, they are a business
