Thrust Setting At Takeoff | Airbus A320
มุมมอง 10K2 ปีที่แล้ว
On all jet engines, but particularly on high bypass ratio engines, the engine acceleration profile is not linear. It follows the engine control law that is defined to optimize the acceleration in a way that the risk of engine stall is reduced because of this the aircraft engines accelerate asymmetrically at takeoff when moved directly to takeoff thrust from idle. To overcome this Airbus recomme...
Radiotelephony Procedure: Clearance, Pushback And Start Up, Taxi Out
มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I’ll be showing you the Radiotelephony procedure for obtaining the airways clearance, clearance to pushback, start up and taxi out. We will consider a flight from Mumbai to Kolkata as an example. Always keep in mind that when you transmit on a radio frequency, you represent yourself, your country and the company you are operating for. Remember to Always use a respectful, polite, a...
OEB: Operations Engineering Bulletin
มุมมอง 2.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Inappropriate or incorrect application of an OEB could cause potentially negative outcomes for the safety of a flight. Therefore, it is important that flight crews know which OEBs are applicable to their aircraft when preparing for a flight. The applicable OEBs can be quickly and efficiently reviewed by referring to the “List of Effective OEBs” (or LEOEB) in the QRH. There are defined entry con...
Landing Technique | Airbus A320
มุมมอง 28K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The landing phase is very demanding and it requires good coordination between the flight crew. The FCOM procedure and FCTM provide the recommended techniques that must be carefully followed to ensure a safe landing. The Pilot Flying must ensure that the aircraft is established on the expected final approach path at the approach speed. They will apply progressive back stick input at the correct ...
EFB: In-Flight Landing Performance | Airbus A320
มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
An electronic flight bag (EFB) is an electronic information management device that helps flight crews perform flight management tasks more easily and efficiently with less paper. The EFB aims at replacing the on-board paper documentation by providing the flight crew with: • Performance applications to compute the aircraft loadsheet and performance at take-off, cruise and landing. • An applicati...
Discontinued Approach | Airbus A320
มุมมอง 6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Airbus recently performed some research on the quality of go-around execution. This involved examining nearly 500,000 approaches flown by many airlines from around the world. The results highlighted that in some cases crews are choosing not to apply the Airbus Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the go-around phase. Particularly when a go-around was performed above 1,200 ft, the flight crew ...

Notice to air misions
Hi Capt, Thanks for sharing nice information . I have a question, Which A320 SIM you are using for these videos ?
Thank you
Well it's not that hard to make a soft landing ~150Fpm with a calm wind, my record is about 58 fpm in A320Neo, but if i am trying in msfs 2020 landing challenge at Madeira( funshal) with unstable wind up to 25 knots i always get 600 fpm at best and at worst up to 1000 fpm. Maybe just a few times i got 100 an 200 fpm. Ohh, unstable wind that changes your speed on 10 - 15 knots in just a second - is really a big problem to land aircraft smootly. Or maybe it just me too bad.
Nice capt. Easy to understand, thanks😊
😂😂😂😂loooooong landing. Dont lie
Could you explain about keep out zone
what about if i reaches 1009 degrees
What is the name of the app used in the video please?
Flysmart+ Landing by Navblue Inc.
What is the name of the app used in the video please?
Informative 👍🏻
Is the “BRAKES HOT” ECAM message a caution, or is it an advisory?
It is an ECAM caution.
@@captainsiddharth Thanks.
What is the purpose of this device can anyone tell me? Are necessary informations already entered the MCDU?
Electronic flight bags (EFBs) contains all your manuals and gives easy access to it. It is also used for calculations related to your flight performance. All the necessary information has to be fed manually into the mcdu during cockpit prep like the fuel, speeds, flight plan.
@@captainsiddharth Thanks for feedback 🙏🏻 Can you get access to the QRH as well which already exists into cockpit? If it is available i guess it is a great opportunity for captains during emergency conditions. Because I think these conventional methods are required a great deal of time to find failure in handbook. Again thanks for your answer 🙏🏻
@@cagdasaslan252 Navblue Inc. is one of the companies that makes eQRH. A demo version of it is available on the App Store for free if you want to check it out.
@@captainsiddharth aún es funcional la app ? La descargue y parece que no..
What software/App is that?
App is Aerofly FS 2021 and the software used in the later part is FMGS Aid by Vital Simulation.
Excellent
Meaning of the generator can’t connect in parallel?
It means 2 generators cannot supply electrical power to a single bus at the same time. e.g. if AC bus 1 fails, then GEN 2 is supplying the power to the entire electrical network (GEN 1 is still operative but it won't come into the picture, bus tie cont. will remain open and GEN 1 will stay disconnected from the network, leaving GEN 2 to supply the entire network).

Great work 👍
Great way to show the flare technique - thanks!
Thanks for the vid, mate. I want to check my sim realism. I use flightgear. How can I make the brakes go red hot? Will RTO be enough?
I used RTO, to demonstrate the brake temperature in this video. So, I guess RTO should be enough to check for your sim realism.
Good to see an Indian talking about aviation. Great video, mate. Keep them coming. I'm your proud 360th subscriber now.
Thank you, it means a lot.
💙
Nice!!
thanks Capt,
I am on ur plane right now
That's nice, hope you had an amazing flight.
However sir there was a delay at Singapore changi airport due to some issues. I really appreciate how your team worked to solve the issue.
what simulator do you use?
Aerofly FS
my name is Siddharth actually.we both got the same name
I actually like aviation a lot
My name is Larry.
The equipment shown in this video is at least as old as equipment I was familiar with in the late ‘70s. We’ve progressed quite a bit but still painfully slow.
thx bro!

Great!!
But what about the new SOPs?
Thanks for the input, I'll update it in the next video.
Please recheck the pilot call of pushback. It should include “request pushback“.
To cut down on the communication the ATC can sometimes directly clear you for pushback. In case, you do not get any clearance from the ATC, then the pilot can request for pushback.
I have a question. For example. We are on des on ils from 3000ft. Gear down, config full already. Atc said cancel approach turn left/right hdg. Maintain 2000ft. Then we can dis arm approach mode. Ac go to hdg + vs. how about speed up and flap schedule? We also can select gear up?
Always keep in mind, the discontinued approach technique should only be applied at or above your selected FCU altitude, when below that use the go-around SOP. In case of discontinued approach we can select a new speed according to the situation and then clean up the flaps accordingly and yes we can select gear up but make sure you are within your limitations.
“Go ahead” is no longer being used with reference to ICAO documents. Instead, the station identity should be addressed for responding to any call from either pilot or ATC.
Thanks for the update.
i think nowadays "Pass Your Message" is used insted of "Go Ahead"
🙌🏻✨
Good. Too theoretical though. Example application of OEB shown would be wonderful.
Multiple views of pfd view, sidestick view, Rwy view is excellent!
Got to learn from the video. Good job
Good video
Good video. Good approach briefing. View of pfd + nd during flight would have been an added bonus.
Makkhan landing 👍👍
