    Great video but any follow-up on how effective (or not) these traps were? These Chinese hornets decimate butterflies by the dozen. One of these can kill a dozen butterflies in less than a day.

    I use a crock pot bag liner on my crock pot before I melt it. And when I’m done waxing frames, I just lift the bag out of the crock pot, it hardens in the bag. Then when I need it again, just put the bag back into the crock pot and reheat it. 👍

    I don't even think you have to change the bait After every 3 days. even if the Bait rotts and spoils the buggs will still get in it I mean rotting fruit doesn't necissarily make them sick or make them have a dislike and distaste for it. idk what nonsense that is. Seeing as it takes awhile for asian hornets to come around, i live on an island not in any big Country, we have them here and i can honestly tell you it is almost idioticly hard to catch these things. and i meeean hard... i barely seev them come around It'd be wise to leave the trap out for more than 2 weeks As they usually travel around sometimes greater distances. also as if the nest isn't nearby It'll probably take them Longer to notice The bait, idk exactly how well they're sense of smell is.

    • @mcfallbeeyard2348
      @mcfallbeeyard2348 2 ปีที่แล้ว
