I rewatch these videos on occasion and my mind is always brought to the upcoming fnaf Dead by daylight crossover, which will definitely have more voice-lines from William, i go through it in my head so much wondering what analysis you could get from the lines

I get the feeling the Michael wasn’t aligned against his father yet. Or at least, not completely. He still follows through and sets Elizabeth free, even though by this point he probably has some idea of what his father has been doing. Plus, the line “it was right where you said it would be,” was delivered in a way that makes it sound like Michael is reaffirming his father’s greatness. Additionally, from the start of the dialogue to the end he sounds more and more unsure of himself. Like, the only thing that gives him direction is William, no matter if it’s directly or indirectly. Literally the only thing he can do is find him.

I've always headcannon that William's family moved from the UK to the USA to start a new life, and William has always just kept his accent, soon passing it to his kids since, well, that can happen when you grow up with your parents, you develop their accent (especially when you consider the fact that Mrs. Afton whom I always thought was purely American probably wasn't in the picture after some time). I do like to imagine that the Afton kids might have tried to adopt an American accent to fit in better, but their British accent was too baked in that their attempts was horrible. I also like the idea that the Aftons are identifiable to their voice, so even if someone like Mike would try to get away from their family name, their voice would immediately give them away. The only character I would say would not have the accent would be Glitchtrap, or I guess any of the springbonnie iterations, since William would be playing a character instead of himself

He directly killed only 6 kids, and we don't know if the Funtimes have killed anyone besides Elizabeth. Idk where at least 11 children came from

My interpretation of the "sigh" is him realizing.....his dad was the one they wanted to kill, but his dad sent him to die instead. Its a sigh of "really? This was your plan all along huh?" Because then he has a more sinister tone when saying "im going to find you" He starts off as excitedly being like "look dad, i did it!" To "wait....he was going to sacrifice me..." To " I'm going to go find him...."

I scrolled through the comments a little but didn't see anyone else say it, but Afton stealing lines from the others makes perfect sense from a character standpoint as well, since as smart and creative as he portrays himself, Henry was the genius behind their success. Afton didn't come up with several of his own lines, possibly even his own catchphrase. He's just slapping his name on them and twisting them to fit his own purposes. Just like the animatronics.

i wish movie william was the same, it might be me but his ''anger'' in the movie made him feel pathetic but if he was acting calm he would give off the actually scary calculating type

I personally like the idea from game theory that the “it was right where you said it would be” is cuz William left some sort of instruction in a last will or something to Mike and/or Mrs. Afton to go find the facility, I’m assuming for something similar to grandpa in Stardew Valley, giving their relative a note for after their death to inherit their place, but instead of a farm, it’s a murder basement filled with robots for murdering children

Afton’s voice is so immaculate I cannot

I really thought the part about the laughter was super interesting, being an actor myself. For the laugh I could physically feel his lungs constricting the same way I would at the end of holding a long note at the end of a song. Really cool how you dissected that! I could definitely hear it in both laughs to a degree since he is ya know rotting in a suit, but it felt more purposeful in the standalone laugh. Great job on this video!! I love dissecting voice lines and songs in movies and films, and hadn’t really considered it in the FNaF franchise lmao.
