This is easily some of my favourite work that you have created mate, honestly thank you so much. I often listen to these and the unification war series if I need to settle myself down and just chill out for a bit 😁🙏

The AI voice is better than most. I didn't realise until mentioning custodes. It's pronounced "lee-geo", not "leg-ee-oh". Is it so hard getting real people to narrate these days? You could find 100s of fans who would love to do it for nothing more than a mention in the credits.

Awesome work. Men i just love the Thunder Warriors. The Emperer did them dirty. Geneticly and mentaly stable Thunder Warriors would have been perfect for the imperium. And if someone comes with: „They were bloody, barbaric and not noble!”. Well. If you recruit from a barbaric, canebalistic, sadistic murder tribe than you should not whine about their barbarety. If you recruit Thunder Warriors from a civiliced word with noble traditions, than the result would be far different.

Do you know why I keep listening to your stories? Because they are better than that of GW, they are incompetent, and your stories are not heavily heretic, they are ok and do not contradict the cannon too much.

Problem I found with this story was disciple, shields and golden armor being associated with thunder warriors. Thunder warriors are not known for being disciplined but being berserkers you unleashed upon the enemy, an almost elemental force. They would not use locking shield formations. Second ceramite is not golden colored that’s auromite which is the color of a custodes. I mentally replaced all mention of thunder warriors with custodes. Finally, time is not properly emphasized in your stories. It took many centuries to conquer Terra but your stories seem to take a few hours or days to occur. Taking a hive city like New York should take months if not years not one or two days. Other then that love your stories but those elements should be in this desperate and bloody era of the emperor’s epic war to unify Terra.

Great story. Will you be doing a story about how the Emperor made the Assassin temples bend the knee?

This is masterful. I'm about two thirds through so far... I *love* how this ties tightly into _The Outcast Dead_ as a prequel to that Horus Heresy book with characters like Arik and Ghota. Brilliant. Only problem now is I want to make a Thunder Warriors warband! 🤓💸🎨🤔
