I know the timer's only supposed to tick when the player has control, but being able to take a break between levels when it has already loaded kinda feels like it's going against the spirit of speedrunning.

So I've never watched this speedrun game before and I have a question. The chainsaw animation seems really slow. Why do you use it instead of killing enemies other ways? What is the benefit of using it?

What an amazing run! Loved watching this. And what great skill. I managed to figure out some tricks you did (speed boost for example), but i couldn't figure out why you keep shooting the blue plasma gun when there are no enemies?
