completely unrelated question but I'm trying to find a blank to build a jig rod on for flipping a 1/2 to 3/4 ounce jig on fluorocarbon around docks and heavy wood. I'm looking for a more broom stick ish style blank in the 7'6 range so I got power to get em away from the cover. I've been looking at Northfork blanks and I like the Northfork blanks Ive built on but most of their 7'6 blanks are moderate or mod-fast and I'm trying to find a fast or extra fast action. I was just curious as to if you had any suggestions on blanks I should look at?

I am thinking about ordering a SJ736-1 that you made the heavy worm rod video on but using it as a frog rod. I see you use the mb version for your frog build, I like a stiff frog rod would the sj or mb do better, thank you!!

Yes, I would like to see the errors. Best way to avoid a mistake is to see one happening. I am just starting to learn, if it's going wrong, stop, strip it off, have coffee and a think - and only then start again. Regretfully the WhatsApp isn't for me. Living in the UK, my phone would be red hot with messages when I'm in bed - or yours would be when you are!
