Im hoping they get the CP1303-2 back in stock soon. Looking to build another float rod. That blank is crazy. Maxed out their machine that tests blanks for breakage. Should be a great steelhead rod.
I have a few of the Silver widow and black widow casting rods. I love them. No issues with balance at all with the baitcasters I have on them. I do like the smoother black widow handle feel better than the ridged silver widow handles. I wish the silver widow handles could be sanded smooth but it would probably take the silver nickel layer off the carbon. No huge deal, just a minor preference I also have a edge first strike spinning rod. It too is superb for the money.
Maybe the owner could have tried a bit heavier or larger reel? just a thought
It's not a bad idea, but reel weight doesn't affect balance that much.

Thanks for watching Bob.

You could put a thin coat of epoxy over the silver handle to get a smooth finish
The ninja rod master! My head just exploded.
Glad you enjoyed it.
The way you figured out how to accomplish what was needed is fantastic as well as the engineering of the parts and pieces. Awesome!
Thanks Kevin!
