I’m sorry that you’re ill. I hope you feel better soon Kevin!
@@KevinKing33510 thank you my friend! Me too it sucks for sure. Bit better today 🤧
Merry Christmas to you too god bless
@@NashBerning same to you and yours!!

Freaking solid support dude rock on and thank you!!
Thats pretty good for a box keep it up
Freaking awesome support dude thank you!!
That's awesome
Freaking amazing support my friend thank you!!
Oh a bamboo lab also, I tried doing that once it failed miserably
@Michaeldoesdrumsofficial you mean the printer failed or the charger?
"for the market" what market? there are thousand stands already out there rather that be on printables or amazon, yours doesn't actually hold the phone...
@@tecbored all great points my friend. Absolutely there are tons of different ones out there and with persistent effort they’ll be another one 👍🏼
@@My-First-3D-Printer Keep it up! Love watching things like this. Gives me ideas for when i do get my printer! Awesome stuff man!!
@ hey thank you so much for the support!! I really appreciate it!! Heck yeah grab a printer and just start creating!!
I thought it was a Blender
@@Elpipek I hear you lol. I’m going to make a second video with the semi final design. Still looking to add a more modern look with some industrial elements. 🤯🤯🤯
@My-First-3D-Printer good work anyway 🤌👍
@@Elpipek thank you!!!
Awe, I missed this! Hopefully I catch the next one 😄
@@luthier93 it’s all good!! Check the replay if you get a minute and I will definitely make a schedule and post the times for lives😬🫶🏼
I use free cad. It took a while to get used to but now i like it a lot, and its totally free.
I'm gonna check that one out!! Yeah, the Fusion 360 is free up until a point and the Shapr3d is a monthly. Definitely something to consider when designing for sure!🙂
Love the enthusiasm but what is it?
@@mattheadplus it’s going to be a mag safe phone stand-charger!🙌🏼🙌🏼
As a creator who knit and crochets, when I was learning those skills, I used basic cheap yarn to learn and practice and then used “good” yarn for making real projects. I can tell you that based on my little bit of experience with my 3D printer, black and white are NOT colors I want to prototype with. I’m thinking a relatively cheap gray or green of the same type of filament would be best to prototype with - something that’s inexpensive that you can get in bulk and not feel like you are wasting money. I hope that made sense!
My friend, you speak the truth! It's needed so we don't waste the more expensive supplies. I am aiming for the end of the year to have two or three colors strictly for prototyping and the rest for finished products!
I have a specific colour filament for prototyping. I personally use a bamboo green.
@@Just_Being_Honest heck yeah!!
Grey and black No to white
@@thebookofmatthew12 right on!!
Nice video 👍
@@KarenWard-w5u thank you my friend!!
Pro tip, for manual Z-Axis movement: If you hold the arrow on the display, it'll keep moving until you let go! It's not instant response, so don't hold 'til the last second (give it a few tries with plenty of space, to see how it responds), but wayyyyyy better than tapping it over and over. Note that this does *not* work in Bambu Studio. I do not know if it works in Bambu Handy. Also! I saw my comment on your snowflake video disappeared; don't know why, but it was to mention and describe parameterization. I won't write all the detail I did there, because it's frankly tedious to do again 😅but, in case that comment didn't get through, look into parameterization! I think the snowflakes would have been a perfect application.
Also, for doing something live, you could do a shorter print at the start, and while it's printing do design work on something bigger and more complicated. Keep a little PiP of the print going, too, and this way you have no "down time" to bore your audience, and you're catering to peoples' curiosity about your designing, and how the print is going, without having to swap back and forth at the behest of chat's demands.
@@luthier93 you are the man!! I was trying to do that yesterday and it just wasn’t reacting and I thought maybe it needed to be reset or something. That’s awesome to know and I’m definitely gonna give that a try.🫡
My A1 in transit right this second. I should have it by next week. Went for that $100 off sale. This will be my first 3D printer. I'm very excited. Saving this video for later reference; really nice to have. Thanks for making this!
@@DaimyoD0 heck yeah brother! I’m excited for you man. Once you get started I promise you’re gonna be so addicted to printing things. And once you get started, that’s it my man.!! Yeah, dude also throw it in the comments if you have any specific questions now or once you get yours and I’d be happy to help you, bro whatever I learn I share

Consider using gyroid infill. That default (rectilinear?) ends up crossing over lines that are printed at the same level, causing that noise.
i agree with you
@@jeffdunhamrockz you are the man!!! That you so much. Gonna give it a try today 🤙🏼🫡🤙🏼

Congratulations! 🎉🎊🍾
@@KevinKing33510 thank you so much!! I started filming some of the assembly. Will be doing a 3D video this weekend of a useful print!
Do you find the build volume limiting at all? Debating between this and the regular A1
@@Schwab.travis that’s a great question man and I am definitely starting to feel the bill volume would’ve been better with the A1. One thing I will say in bamboo labs creating of the mini is that they really hit the nail on the head. It is really perfect all around and unless you really require having a bigger bed size than the A1 mini is good. I am definitely gonna be investing in another bamboo lab series printer in the near future once I start selling products. But between the A1 and the A1 mini, you can’t go wrong!
Nice dude. I use mesh mix and tinker cad, tho i dont like meshmixer as much and i dont perfer tinker cad. Get him to 1,000 Subs by December guys!!!!!
@@SusGuyFromAmongUs123 thank you my friend!!! I appreciate that!! Yeah I am so new to CAD and looking forward to getting into a good swing with creating 😬
Well, I do recommend TinkerCad as it is wide spread if yours is too difficult, its also meant to be easy and has 10s of THOUSANDS of tutorials along with Playlist of them in order. Hope u do good with whichever one u pick!
@ that’s sounds awesome!! I will definitely check it out!!
@@My-First-3D-Printer Yup, and give updates! I wanna know if it's easy and works for many or not. I hear Its very easy, but idk. It could just be that modeling itself is a lil hard, which I'm pretty sure is the case. We will see!
@ will do for sure!! Stick with it dude. It’s definitely challenging but super fun when you get one thing down. Then build the skills from there. I just started messing with CAD less than three months and I’m still not where I want to be but definitely better then when I started😬🫡
Not all PLA filament have the same speed and temperature parameters. I had some unbranded PLA that the specs showed print speed was only 1/4 of bambu speeds. And some specify different bed and print temperature. It's not one size fits all. I got 1 small 250g spool of PLA from aliexpres. Turned out to be PLA lite and was foamy and also very matte. Great for making lightweight prints for RC planes, but not for the cnc dust shoe I tried printing. So what I've learnt from that experience, is to always do a test print of say a benchy, label it with fllament brand name, supplier, date of purchase and your print parameters, once you get a good test print done you have a permanent record for next time. ❤
Dude that's a brilliant idea!!! Thank you and I know we can all use that tracking system to help !!
Nice dude! Does this apply for Creality? Specifically an Ender 3 V3 SE?
Right on dude!! I'm not sure but it seems like most hot ends are similar. It definitely helped after cleaning it!
And a lot faster is to use the array tool, make the first six sided polygon, and extract it for 12.5 mill down so you have the actual hole, and then use the array tool on the feature, 3 rows and 9 columns or visa versa. so you don't have to select all the 27 items to extract. And creating 27 hexagons. For more the 4 or 5 items learn the array, And these projects are very well suited to learn those skills kind regards Hans
@@hanspijpers2100 I’m starting the book today with all of the notes to help out with creating in Fusion 360. Thank you again my friend!!
Hi, you can enter the formula as a value for the radius just type in 6.75/2 and fusion will automatically fill in the right measure. You could use real complicated expressions as input Kind regards Hans
@@hanspijpers2100 Hands!! Thank you, dude!! I’m going to try it today🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey buddy. I just ordered my Bambu Lab A1 combo today and it will be here in about 4 days, excited! 🙂
@@mikespcgaming9423 let’s gooooooo brother!!!!! That’s so awesome!! You are going to love that thing!!
Looks great! For parts like this where the tolerance is really critical, I’ll start with the smallest test print possible to dial in the size. This might mean a small rectangular block with five or so of those hex holes at slightly different sizes. Super fast to print and saves time/filament to get the perfect fit on the final thing. Cheers!
@@adaetz1042 right on dude I will start doing that. Yeah I’ve definitely burned through at least a half kilo on filament that were failed-not accurate prints. Thank you so much for the help dude!!

@ absolutely. I’m gonna be home in about 13 hours. I’m on the road and I will send you all of the links in this same thread.👍🏼👍🏼
are you buying 3d filament during black friday? how much do you get your filament for? i was just able to buy 10kg matte pla for $83 total on aliexpress
@@sandingo yeah I’m gonna be looking to get some filament for black Friday for sure. I need it. I’m literally down to my last 500 g. I’m gonna be looking for whatever deal I can get the most amount of filament for.🙌🏼🙌🏼
Good job 👏
Thank you!!
you need to use the software i sent you for that lower Poop it wont let your filament jam because it pull it out before it cuts the filament so reduces the loss by 2 cm and helps clear the head
@@richarddonnelley3941 dude thank you for reminding me about it! I’m about to do it now🙌🏼
Bambu Labs is the cheapest around ive found here is Australia 4 rolls from $22.99/$27.99 AUD per roll 8+ 1KG rolls from $19.99/$24.99 AUD per roll Explore Bulk Discounts and free delivery
I would maybe recomend printing it on its back side. That angle shouldnt be too steep and the printer should be able to stair step that pretty decent. Then your lettering should look better. Another thing you can try is using supports as that stringing is probably due to overhangs. I would use the tree supports if youre using bambu studio for your slicer. Hope that helps
@@cristianvaldez1575 thank you my friend!! I’m gonna try both methods. I’m just starting to learn about support elements in prints👍🏼
Strings maybe caused by too much moisture in your fillement. To test if the fillement is too moist just bend a piece of it, if it snaps then it is too moist and you need to dry it out. There are also other causes such as head being too hot as well Or printing too fast.
Thank you my friend!! I’ve been taking notes and building a list of things🙏🏼
Those strings are caused by overhangs, the filament has to harden in the air while it's being printed. If the angled side is less than 45 degrees you can print it with the open face pointing straight up. That should eliminate all those overhangs and should give you a nice print.
@@axelspike THANK YOU!!! I really appreciate it!! I’m going to give this a try today!
