Pro tip, for manual Z-Axis movement: If you hold the arrow on the display, it'll keep moving until you let go! It's not instant response, so don't hold 'til the last second (give it a few tries with plenty of space, to see how it responds), but wayyyyyy better than tapping it over and over. Note that this does *not* work in Bambu Studio. I do not know if it works in Bambu Handy. Also! I saw my comment on your snowflake video disappeared; don't know why, but it was to mention and describe parameterization. I won't write all the detail I did there, because it's frankly tedious to do again 😅but, in case that comment didn't get through, look into parameterization! I think the snowflakes would have been a perfect application.
Also, for doing something live, you could do a shorter print at the start, and while it's printing do design work on something bigger and more complicated. Keep a little PiP of the print going, too, and this way you have no "down time" to bore your audience, and you're catering to peoples' curiosity about your designing, and how the print is going, without having to swap back and forth at the behest of chat's demands.
@@luthier93 you are the man!! I was trying to do that yesterday and it just wasn’t reacting and I thought maybe it needed to be reset or something. That’s awesome to know and I’m definitely gonna give that a try.🫡
My A1 in transit right this second. I should have it by next week. Went for that $100 off sale. This will be my first 3D printer. I'm very excited. Saving this video for later reference; really nice to have. Thanks for making this!
