pretty good optimized i guess but remeber guys flying very fast slows down the fps in my experience like using a jet and forest areas or jungles can be very intense but so far so good ty

for me i just put the strap thring in the hole and wiggled it around a couple of times till it popped out the top.

Anyone elses quest 3 take forever to find the wifi 6e band with this setup?

how can I turn on performance/connection values graph just like yours?

I have the Kiwi strap on my Quest 2 and love it, so I purchased it when I ordered my Quest 3. Your tape method was a real time-saver. The only thing about this Kiwi strap I miss is the lens protector that came with the Quest 2 model, which also came with a facial interface.

I have the same cpu paired with a 3060 from msi and I can't even pass the launch screen. It crashes immediately

Just got mine today. Very comfortable. For the step with the tape, you can just easily clip out the facepiece on the Quest and push the strap through, around that awkward slot. It will automatically feed through, then simply clip the face piece back on.

I've had my quest 3 for two weeks and been hammering the thing with all sorts of configurations from all sorts of youtubers and yours has worked the best for me. So many places to configure and so many utilities all at once became a quagmire of disillusion. 😟Thanks again mate. 👍👍👍

4:10 Damn! Why didn't I think of that trick with the adhesive tape? I removed the facial interface but it was still a bit of a chore to get the strap through. I ended up pushing it into the loop as far as it would go, then used a small metal pin to fish the front of the strap out of there just enough so I could grab it with my fingers. The tape-method looks *much* easier - with less risk of damaging any plastic parts. That said: This is a pretty great strap. I can't compare it to any other aftermarket products, but it sure beats the hell out of that flimsy thing the Q3 comes with. Which isn't saying much, I know, but the Kiwi is an awesome upgrade IMO. Also completely agree WRT the jump in clarity/visual quality between the Reverb G2 and the Q3 - as I made the same upgrade about 10 days ago. Couldn't be happier with the Quest's visual quality and overall performance in PCVR.

I cant do it even with the tape method. What is this design? Why was this made this way with no mention of it anywhere whatsoever? Why is this allowed?

How did this thing get good reviews, no one mentions its physically impossible to install without a particular type of a piece of tape? No one mentions that? What were they thinking? What is this design? Literally, wtf.

You can actually tow a row of 9 Mack trucks with the absolutely ridiculous Velcro they use on this strap. My god. 🤦‍♂️

instead of using the tape trick i slightly bent the very tip of the strap so when you push it in it turns and comes out the other side

I have the G2 and bought the Quest 3. I connected the Quest 3 by cable and modified the resolution in the OpenXR Tool Kit and it almost reaches the resolution of the G2. Of course, the Quest 3 has better lenses and more FOV. The Quest 3 is worth it. I don't regret it.

The tape trick was a lifesaver. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get the strap through that little space, but the tape made it such a cinch. My daughter loves her Kiwi headstrap for the Quest 2, so when we bought her a Quest 3 for her birthday, I knew a Kiwi strap for the Quest 3 was in our future. Thank you for taking the time to make this!

Amazing. Exactly what I wanted. I'm surprised this video doesn't have more views, and those stands are still in stock. I saw your video on Saturday and placed an Amazon order (Europe) for 2 stands, double-sided tape, and a couple of USB hubs. Just set it up properly with some zip ties... I now have one cable for the triple unit and a beautiful radio panel + a RADIO/MULTI/SWITCH panel. It looks really slick on my desk, and I can put it away easily. It doesn't move, or it moves very slightly when pushing the white button on the radio panel, but then you hold it from behind without even thinking about it, and it stays in place. This really looks so good. Thank you for the video.

You don't need tape to insert the strap, just wiggle it from side to side while pushing forward and it will go straight through like a hot knife through butter. Trust me, it's the easiest thing!

Good Video and now a comfortable headset but the unit no longer charges in my ridiculously overpriced Dock. The whole thing is a complete sham with rubbish battery life as an extra.
