My father gave me Sheaffer Targa Matte-Black with 3B nib in 1989 and at the same time my mother gave one set of Waterman Cotele (gold), when I was in college.....since then I've loved fountain pens and I'm using almost all of them in every occasion. Great talk, thanks Samuel.

I’ve been watching this collectors talk and have been thinking of the words to write. First of all let me just say a huge THANK YOU for sharing this collection and collector with us and of course a tremendous Thank You to Manor for sharing his personal collection and passion with you and us. It’s wonderful to hear such amazing words coming from a fellow collector, but also a fellow user. I think it’s absolutely incredible that Manor uses his entire collection (As I do, although admittedly my collection consists of Montblanc (with only a couple of other brands mixed in). It was extremely special to listen to you both talk about this passion subject (and I could have listened for hours) it was so informative (yet relaxed). I’m in awe of this lovely collection and the feelings you both have behind it. It makes me so happy to hear that someone apart from myself shares the love for not only the writing industry (it’s history and passion) but also openly admits that each pen makes you feel and write differently. You are both absolutely correct in saying “there is a connection”. Just like with my own collection each piece has almost a different influence on what and how I write. I was fantastic to hear you both compliment other collects and the passion we all share, and thank you (again for such kind words). This was truly a mesmerising video to watch, and I hope there’s more on the horizon. Thank to Manor for his kind gift to yourself (claiming it was from all who watch and share this passion) it was truly thoughtful of him to include us in his thoughts. I loved the conversation about the journey of his experiences (and the fact that these pieces are heirloom and heritage pieces he wish’s his children will continue to adore). Thank so much for this enlightened video.❤

Another great collection, and conversation. Stunning pens! Faber Castell is so stylish - I love it too! Have two and the pencil - just because it looks good! I splurged ! My fountain pen does dry up quickly - not sure if it’s the pen . The parquet pen - Wow! Thank you Samuel for always keeping it interesting!

I also really loved this one! I appreciated the fact that Manor insists on using its fountain pens, even the rarest or most expensive ones, and not keeping them imaculate like museum pieces. They're made to be used, to write with and to give pleasure and sensations!

Wonderful conversation, very moving indeed, and superb collection of Manor especially with all those rares Namikis. I appreciated his passion also for the vintage with this old 1930’s Namiki. And also the fact that Manor honored the hard work that Samuel delivers, honored it with gentle words and with this delicious Champaign !

Samuel, NEVER stop the pen collector talks. Great way to "meet" fellow collectors and see some wonderful collections. These fellow collectors are so down to earth.

What did you like about this Collector Talks?

I have that same Indian Satinwood Pen of the Year myself. My honeymoon started and ended in Vienna, and there is nothing more Austrian than a creaky parquet Indian Satinwood floor. I really think it's one of their best, the most interesting and capturing the essence without being over the top. And speaking of children, my 3 year old desperately wants to use my fountain pens so much so that when I tell her she can use one of I see she can write, she runs to practice writing letters with these self-erasing ballpoints she has.

Filling a fountain pen is a beauty itself

LOVE that he references "Emotions" and relating to the fountain pen you write with.

I see no point in the ball point pen. The roller ball is easy to take around with no worries and it feels good. My favorite by far is the fountain pen! It's kind of like like going to a fine restaurant for a 5 course meal vs McDonalds for the #2 meal.

I really enjoy your videos, but you talk foreverrrrrrrr and way too much,especially at the beginning of your videos.

I have this, the M900. Grail pen from in college. Saw a librarian whip it out from a pen case in her desk and start writing with it. Italic nib on hers. I thought, "Why isn't this in the LOCkED case with the rare manuscripts?!" She offered, but I refused to even touch it. That was 1976. 47 years later I have one. Used it today and nearly every day. ❤🎉
