Thanks, Glow plugs were since replaced. It's better but still randomly does this. Block heater pulls amps and warms the black but maybe.

Funny thing is my wife really wants to buy it even more than me, but she just bought the brand new Tacoma so it's a bad time to spend that much money.

I'd go for it. You can always put the emblems back on with new 3m tape and order new stickers. But it will look better and more unique without them.

@@oisforoffroad great advice and in the meantime, I’ll keep the badging just in case when the truck has mechanical problems then I’ll glue them back on and hawk it off to the next buyer/owner. 👍🏻👌🏻

@deantrainr Good plan. I always keep everything from a new truck. I have a storage tote for each of my vehicles with all their stock parts in them including the window stickers so I can literally put the vehicle back to the day I bought it.

@@oisforoffroad yes, myself as well. Not planning on keeping this new disposable/throwaway Tacoma for too long anyway; especially when the engine, transmission, and/or the hybrid system tanks out on me.

Work gave me a 2022 Toyota Highlander hybrid. That was the most unsafe and horrible vehicle I'd ever had the displeasure of using. That is why our Tacoma is not the hybrid version. We have an extended warranty so we are good for years.

So I should put Ford badges on it then ? :)

@@oisforoffroad you could at least Ford is replacing them engines with crate engines. Toyota on the other hand is asking 28k for engine repair and its not even replacing the entire engine.

Awesome, I have 112 miles on mine now. Just got all the windows tinted and it's great. Haven't towed yet but looking forward to it.

That's a great idea, I should have used that.

The truck has a whole 103 miles on it, doing fine.

It has a sun roof and We specifically ordered it with the small screen. The large screen gets in the way and there isn't anything really important on it.

Agreed. This is better than the hybrid engine in the TRD pro and limiteds but it would be allot better with a v6. Truck prices are out of hand.

There is a good motor in it. The best that they ever put in a tacoma. They tested this motor 3 years ago and put 350,000 km on it with no problems in the desert they drove it hard for 3years . That wy they put it in production for the 2024 tacoma. Valve had hardly to carbon on them.

My 91 Toyota pickup had been abused for years and it still did awesome. The transmission let it down after 285k miles of hard-core offloading.

That's what warranties are for. We bought this partially so my wife can tow her own race car on my open trailer. It will be right at the weight limit so if anyone is going to melt a trans, it will be us. Ill make a video.

I hope that doesn't happen but you never know. That is one of the risks of buying a new vehicle.

Thanks. She really likes it so far. Both of us were shocked that we liked it in white, we both normally don't like white vehicles but we didnt like the dark colors and Orange wasn't available. We shocked ourselves with how good it looks in white. Its also a good color to Plasti dip or wrap to change later. Enjoy your Tacoma !

@oisforoffroad yes this is my first color in white l never have had a car or pickup in white before but it was the only color they had in stock at that time but I don't mind the color it's growing I me now

I looked at the Frontier and it was cheaper but we didn't like the way it looked and we needed a long bed. The real vehicle we wanted was a Porsche Macan GTS but didn't want a $90+k work vehicle so the $50k Tacoma was cheap by comparison.

The first year of any new vehicles model year is something to worry about, we have an extended warranty so we will find out. Whatever happens will be here on YT.

My C5 isn't street legal so i don't drive it on the road but on the race track I haven't noticed any rocks. I dont think there would be any problem with rocks because of the way the wheels are rotating, i think the rocks would only come through if you were driving in revers.

My car has the Carbon Ceramic breaks, they are huge and I havnt been able to find any rims to fit over them. Audi has 1 option.

These are meant for high bay areas so if your garage has really high ceilings it would work well. They don't really shine light to the sides all that well. Hyperlite shows some other lights on their site that would be better for a lower ceiling. My garage has 10ft ceilings and these wouldn't work well in there.

Yeah, I'm realizing this. They have a deform-able bright LED that replaces a standard E base light so maybe that's a better fit.

TH-cam videos helped me fully rebuild my suspension into a 2004 z06 suspension and aid me with details regarding installing my a&a supercharger. I don’t think the hud will be too bad. I’ll just have to get it done regardless, lol. I love my car but my god I saw your 6 speed and I was jealous. My auto is fast as hell and great for cruising in my ridiculously bad traffic but there just is nothing like the looks and fun of a manual.

I'm glad I have been helpfull. It sounds like you have a good setup. Autos are good for some things but a manual really brings out the performance in a vette.

It's a fairly agile car on the street for how heavy it is. It's a horrible autocross car, unless it's pouring rain or snowing. In the dry she eats tires incredibly fast and it's very difficult to get her to turn in. Understeer is all you get. I love it as my daily driver and it's an okay track car but way to heavy for tight autocross stuff.

Good idea. I've since found and ordered replacement o-rings. I'll try those first, if not then the llocktite.

You can plug it back into its connector and turn on the ignition to test it before completely re-installing it.
