Sorry it's time to end this old misguided belief. The lands of the book of Mormon are that of both North and South America. :)

@@TheWordsofChrist Perhaps, but take a hard look at the numbers. Where are the majority of members located now, who happen to be of Lamanite decent? Central and South America, not North America.

This is not opinion but rather is fact based on the words of prophets that have spoken on the topic. I encourage people to do research using reliable resources as Presidnt Nelson has directed.

That is correct, again do the research as directed and you'll discover important truths. You'll also learn why the church can't yet have an official position. The lack of taking an official position does not mean it is not known. I will add that some real historical sites will have tourist buses and others will bring literally from out of nowhere men in black suits demanding that you to leave the area immediately. Much of our true history has been kept from us here in America.

Need help? You’ve got it-and it comes from the Lord. Each morning, first thing, ask yourself this one question: *What should I start and stop doing today to become the happy person I was meant to be?* You’ll immediately receive an answer. The first several times you ask this question, the answers will likely be things you already knew but were procrastinating taking action on. When you receive the Lord’s answer, ask Him in prayer for both the desire and the strength to change. Repeat this prayer a couple of times a day, asking for His help and strength. As you do this, pick up the scriptures and begin reading-you’ll receive even more answers. The Lord truly does care and is ready and willing to meet us where we are. We only need to turn to Him and ask for His help. If you try to change without the Lord’s assistance, you will likely fail and eventually stop trying. However, with the Lord’s help, even if you stumble, you can repent, and He will grant you the desire and strength to keep going, ultimately helping you become a better and happier person. Try it-what do you have to lose?

We can know what they allow us to know, and it's important to remember that there is a difference.

@TheWordsofChrist Understand, but NDEs are long out of the closet and certainly some need to be kept private because they are too sacred, private, etc. I believe the admonition to gain wisdom from the "best books" is applicable to digital content as the spoken word. Some of these ideas, generate valid insights, just as with pondering the written word. There are thousands of valid experiencers stories of face to face contact with Jesus. Many believe these accounts, while trolls mock. Nothing new in this regard, so possible mocking of NDEs is the same mockery of written word or general conference talks, yet we openly have these. I would also speculate these insights may also even be in lost scriptures of pages or books, because they exist in the ones we have.

Just trying to help gather Israel, as directed by President Nelson.

It is truly amazing to realize that the Lord is near and that He loves us. If we remember Him, as we promise each week when we partake of the sacrament, and if we keep His commandments and honor our covenants, we have no need to fear.
