i just got one of these with the lcd screen wont turn on or charge ,your video has made removing the battery very easy thank you i now have it on o hobby charger charging happyly ,i see the batterys are quite easy to get hold of now so if this one powers up i wont have a problem getting hold of a replacement ,the one i have removed is 10 years old ,ill let you know if it turns on and will then charge through the gopro plus

This was very useful and the video I was looking for. My only question is why do you need a fuse box instead of running the black directly to the terminal?

My Dyson 41 was acting up, so I’m one of those older guys (83) that will try to fix anything, but I also check u-tube, found you and was ready to tear my vacuum apart. You suggested pressing the bottom 5 times and holy cow,,, it works again I can’t thank you enough. Gary

Video was great, helped me get that white piece and spring back together correctly. I broke one of my tabs off closing it back up. All these plastic pieces under tension don't make for a robust design. At least I'm back up and fully functional. Thank You!

You plugged rednblack into left terminal...not right....nothing wrong with switch....so where or what controls power to head when in upright position....must be another switch your not showing that can be bad....where is it aint?? Why doesn't anyone make a video on that switch????

Helpful video. Unfortunately my plastic handle that all that housing attaches to is warped and the hose took 9 months before it clicked into its place. Reattaching these buttons seems like an impossible task. It's taking me several days and I've yet to accomplish it. The nearest Dyson dealership is several hours away. Be pretty sad to drive several hours One direction for 2 minute fix. Thanks for the helpful video.

Just a note to those that think the beater switch is defective and causing the beater motor not to run, it may not be the switch, it is likely it isn't. After checking the beater bar motor and the wiring up to the switch I decided to isolate the switch as being the culprit before purchasing a new one. Simple to do this, just disconnect the switch and short the wires together ( make sure the power is diconnected 1st! ). I did this and the motor would still not run. The next component in the circuit is that little switch-like device in between the 2 switches that has a mushroom cap on it. That's actually a 2.5amp circuit breaker. Do the same procedure to see if that's the culprit. Hook up the switch you just disconnected and disconnect the 2 wires to the circuit breaker and short those together ( AGAIN with the power off, or the unit not plugged in). If the motor now runs when you hit the switch, you've found your problem! This was my situation and I ordered a replacement breaker and voila, beater motor now works like a charm. Oh, and be sure and save that mushroom cap on the existing breaker and transfer it to the new one, You need that!

Thanks so much for making this video. It was way easier to follow the assembly step by step than the almost wordless illustrations on the assembly instructions provided by Schwinn. I did fine until bolting the handlebar stem while holding up the front (upper) shroud. I dropped the first bolt and 2 washers into the wheel housing unit. I had to get a magnet on a wand to retrieve them because it was too narrow to reach inside. The whole bike had to be turned side to side and finally upside down to shake the last washer to the opening to retrieve it with the magnet. It stopped the entire process for a day. This can be easily avoided by COVERING THE OPENING OF THE HOUSING UNIT AROUND THE STEM WITH CLOTH OR PLASTIC BEFORE INSTALLING THE BOLTS AND WASHERS TO THE STEM. Then if you drop any of the parts you are installing, it will roll off onto the floor instead of into the housing of the wheel.

Yo bro, thank you so much. I had just finished recording a time lapse, and i shut the gopro off. Then when i tried to turn it on a little bit later, it wouldnt turn on. And then i found out it wouldnt charge either. This really helped.

I put the feet on and then realized they were on backwards. I did not catch that you swapped sides in the video. You suck.
