Hi i think the simplest way to put it is the clk is a two door c class and the cl is a two door s class. So the cl is better quality, more luxurious

Hi, they are controlled from the controls on the doors that are shaped like seats. The very top of them is the button that controls the headrest

@@miamibeachsunnydays8274 there is a button on the dashboard above the infotainment system. If you press it once they drop. Then if you hold it down they raise back up

Thanks for the comment! I really hope so, i think the c215s are so unique and i find them more beautiful as time goes on. But despite being the flagship along with the sl’s, cl’s just do not seem to go up as much as the sl’s do.

Mate honestly i really loved how this car felt. Floating but super fast and flat. I’ll be honest though, i heard the gen before one with the v10 and I’m in love! Think id prefer that one.

Glad you found the video helpful. An sl55 would be incredible! But one with few problems will be expensive. It’s up to you my friend. I will say this, sl350’s v6 is a pleasure and you will enjoy this car immensely.

Hi, thanks so much for the kind words. To lift the car there’s a button right next to the abc sport button on the dashboard. You can press that twice to lift it two times.

Thank you bro! Trust me abc all the way! I have it on my cl500 and it’s just incredible. No way!!! Sl600 and sl55 that’s literally two of my favourite cars haha. What generation is the 600? And you have to say one, which is better?

I also have the SL500 R129 and the CL55 N/A🤣. Between the 2 I prefer the V12, ultra smooth, true sleeper and the V12 start up and the torque wow ❤️, the SL55 different animal thou. That one always on the edge and the super charger sound 👌

Yeah man you need to find a mechanic you know well and trust if you own a car like this. My guy is very reasonable but you’re right I’ve got quotes from other people and it’s over double the price!

Hmm i wouldnt let the abc scare you too much. I saw that mine had work done to the suspension from main dealer when i bought it and as long as i change the oil every two years I’m sure it will be fine. But if you would rather mot risk just change the suspension. I’ve seen people doing it for 2k. Probably softer too as the abc is pretty sporty

Hey mate, i replied to this but for some reason it hasn’t gone through. It honestly depends on of it has been looked after and serviced. Mine has full maim dealer service up to like 85k miles. Mine does have a few minor issues now but nothing serious yet. I will say this, buying a 20 year old car that was the pinnacle of its time is always going to have some issues. If you know a good mechanic who will look after you you’ll be alright. Get one

Origional amg or the standard ones that came with the 500?

@@sparksnvolts6855 definitely the standard ones from the 500, mainly because these are super rare now and yours is in immaculate condition. I have a S Class of this generation, love them because they have none of these ridiculous nanny crap driving aids 😂

Literally your spot on best bang for your buck until it isn’t haha. Mine is still going strong just some few annoying issues. I’ll do a video on them soon :)

I absolutely love my cl but it has started to get a few issues now. Soft close has stopped working on the passenger door, theres a rattle from the ac compressor unless the ac is on even though its a brand new one. But for a 20 year old motor thats not that bad. Clk 55 wow i would like to have a go in one of those! Probably not as luxurious as a cl though right? More of a sports car. As always thanks for the comment my friend i hope you enjoyed the video
