    You need to educate yourself about sex work from people who actually know about it. There are thousands of sex worker advocacy organizations fighting for full decriminalization globally. You are repeating "stats" that have been debunked.

    It definitely fits, right after 9/11, in NYC, for this policy to have been implanted. After being tramatized by the attacks, at the time it only made the "average" person a peace of mind. Boy did the rights just kept getting taken away. More of police state

      @@patricklosi3358 There is nothing in NAMBA literature, that I know of, that could have led to this crime. It's an important point. This is like suing a gun manufacturer because someone has committed a crime using one of their guns... something we've seen more and more of in law.... so-called law. It's easy to pick on NAMBLA because their views are not popular, but they are not responsible.

    I can't believe the narrator actually blames the parents! No, their supposed "lack of capable guardianship" is NOT the root cause here....its the two men that murdered Jeffery that are the root cause. Jefferey was eyed by Jaynes from the moment he first laid eyes on him and it was only a matter of time before a viable opportunity came about...Jaynes was a predatory killer....and lets remember when and where this happened. Obviously the narrator is not familiar with the area Curley lived in.....latch-key kids or free-range kids around age 10-11 were a common site in working class neighborhoods of that time and place, so lets put it in its proper context and not apply a 2023 view on it. I repeat, the root cause was a very dangerous, predatory sex-killer who had a number of warning signs. I just hope the Curleys don't see the damn "content".

    I went through DYS in Missouri when I was a teenager (about 30 years ago). I spent 4 years in a DYS facility in Poplar Bluff, and it was one of the most difficult but helpful things that I have ever experienced. At least for myself and my story, I cannot speak highly enough for the positive change and impact this had on my life. After listening to you talk, it sounds like 30 years later, and the program is still very much the same now as it was then.

  • @wildbill562
    @wildbill562 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Racial profiling is just as valid as any other kind of profiling. Whites have a right to challenge blacks "why are you here?" in white neighborhoods. Trayvon Martin is a perfect example. He was a thief looking to commit more burglaries. If a black was invited into the neighborhood by a home owner, fine. But this is just like any gated community. It is a security measure for the residents. If you don't belong there, stay out. That is NOT over policing. It is common sense security.
