Nice bro! Wish I could find largies. I’m from Texas so I’m trying to learn Colorado bass fishing and it’s FKN tough. I just cannot find them. New sub here
@ericstowe8285 man honestly I hear that from so many people, fishing is definitely just different here and the fish aren't normally as aggressive as other places but definitely all about location and timing! & of course the bait haha thanks for checking out the videos brother🎣🤜🤛
Honestly, I would say I personally prefer targeting ponds and smaller bodies of water as the fish are easier to locate as opposed to a big reservoir! Also, in the middle of summer early morning is best time for a consistent bite! Pressure is also a HUGE factor is CO, so many local spots are pounded out so you definitely have to be strategic!
I’m in Brighton too, been fishing all over front range this summer. I’d hesitate on Barr unless you’re up for carp or have a boat, it’s been drained pretty low since the spring early summer. Get out and fish on!
@Turbyo that's awesome brother love hearing that!! Definitely gotta break those rods out and enjoy the rest of this summer before the cold🎣 lots of fish to be caught!! Good luck out there 🤜🤛
@@Xion-202 your not wrong. But when there is a lake that the state manages it for stocker trout such as lon haglar or Thomas res, there are bass in those lakes but they manage them for trout so the numbers aren't high for bass and the trout get pulled out cuz that's all ppl fish for. Same with st vrain state park. There is bass in those lakes but they manage them for trout
@@Xion-202 I appreciate it bro, but to be honest I don't target bass that much and I go all over fishing and I don't like the spots I go to, to be crowded and lately that's been the case with all the people moving here it's best to keep the good spots a secret
Thank you brother!! I know honestly kind of weird, they were being real subtle with the hit instead of exploding on it! Thanks for checking out the video brother🎣
@michaelupchurch3769 I'm using an Abu Garcia Roxani but it also doubles as the Abu Zata reel! Paired up on my 7'1 Medium Heavy St. Croix Bass X rod! Thanks for checking out the video brother🎣🎣🎣
Honestly I couldn't say one specific area but truthfully there are great little gems all over the state from Pueblo, to Colorado Springs, to Fort Collins to Boulder & to Denver!! It's all about putting in the leg work and the hours to find those spots though forsure, I always say you never know until you go!🎣🎣 fish on brother
That’s a fun video my Brother!!! Lots of beautiful Bass!!! You are the Man!!!
Have you ever tried Washington park ? If you have how is it ?

@@victoralfaro759 get em dude!! Gotta enjoy the rest of our summer🎣🎣
@fishingcolorado yessir, I've been on a nice roll at the spot lately, so I'm good with that...
The smallies are easy to catch in Colorado but I can’t catch largemouth. Got any tip?
Structure, fish it

That is because Colorado only cares about their 10inch stocked trout. If you want to find bass go to a lake that doesn't have trout.
@@ethansimplot664 trout and bass won’t be in the same body of water bro, there 2 completely different fish a cold water fish vs a warm water fish
