If the guy had 2 brain cells in his head, he would have walked back 150 feet and noticed the Entrance to an Industrial Park that he could have backed up, and turned left into. As a OTR Driver of 43 years and 5.8 Million Accident Free miles. I have assisted many drivers in the past. Even so much as to actuback a Tired Driver's truck into the Dock for him. But since about 2005. I noticed Today's Pajama Pants and Flip Flop wearing Wheel Holders, will tell me to F**K Off and mind my own business if I offer to assist. So I let them continue to Destroy Property and Vehicles. Before Automatic Transmissions were put into Class 8 Trucks. Unskilled and UNQUALIFIED wheel holders would not be behind the wheel.

It is so difficult to get out of the car and help moving all the cars so this guy can back up as ,any yards possible to make the u turn even if is 500 yards ., instead of being recording with the cellphone ., some people are just useless

If you are in this situation just stop, do not try to do a U-turn call the police and they will help you back out of the situation and if they have to close down other streets they will And this will save you from write up or getting fired guaranteed

Honestly been driving for 4 months now entered a closed road ahead best thing to do is put on your flashers and back up real slow when traffic is clear

Last week I had a small trailer rented from u hual and was my first time using it and tried reversing a trailer and after 3 minutes of trying to do a u turn just decided to go to a place where I could rotate it without reversing and it was only like 5 ft long I can’t imagine a trailer that big

Just be careful and if you can get help from someone to help you back up safely just back up

Sometimes you just have to stop and breathe and think for a second. You should have when realizing you wouldn't make the u-turn. Least he was able to undo what he did. Alot of people can't even drive a standard transmission. Why we are loosing them in the automotive world.

the driver should have stepped out first, check the right hand side of the road. if there is enough space to contain the tail end of the trailer. He should just back up, getting the tail end as much as possible off the road, and then with some forth and back movements he can then make the U-Turn easily.

I remember the first ever time I went through the Appalachian’s range on I-60 through WV. Scary and have to be brave to drive 150 miles without burning your brakes and I did it at night. Few cars stopped very huge tree was stuck blocking the road and we worked as a team to build an arch for enough clearance due to a previous storm there. One of my early days man but I never panicked and thought I needed to turn around it’s just common sense.

Sometimes you got to know when to leave it alone. Don't panic. Just call the local PD and have them direct traffic. You might get a ticket, but you'll keep your job!

I drove trucks for 10 years. I was in the same situation in Memphis, Tennessee. I just backed up until I could get on a freeway on ramp. . I would never turn a truck so sharply as this guy.

I’m a new driver. I feel bad for this guy. It’s a terrible feeling getting stuck in situations like this. Fortunately I was able to fix mine before tearing stuff up. A bit of advice, if you see people on the side of the road looking at you or recording you. GET OUT AND LOOK!

Even if you are a new driver. There's no way you should try something like this. Just allow the cars to pass by. It looks like an opening at the curb, that's probably just enough space. 🤦🏾 That's not a rookie mistake. That's a lack of intelligence all together. G.O.A.L!!! Although the sign says 13'. Sometimes the underpass is still high enough to clear if you're lucky.
