1990 Jeep Wrangler Part 5 a week of Frustration!
I've got a 2008 Pony I use to this day. Not one second problem. I agree maintenance is the key.
@@joseywales7930 I figure if I'm gonna spend this much money on equipment, I better take care of it!
Took a while but i dug a 5 foot hole for a dead horse a few years back. Does nothing great but does everything well enough. Underpowered small tippy fucker thats too expensive and loud but i wouldn't trade mine...unless its for a 3 series. 🤘
@OSUCharger I would agree with you! I am currently digging out several more stumps and remember all the things I dug by hand so I am just fine sitting there pulling levers!
@@captainprairie5790 dang right
This is how you should take care of your lawn equipment , well done
Thank you for the comment! I thought I was a bit quirky but I believe it helps the thing last longer!
@@captainprairie5790 that 100% right . Keeping your equipment well-maintained it will last a long time like with anything
I have a 46 inch Troy-bilt lawn tractor. Only had it a week. The gas pedal is extremely had to depress.
@nancyweare8252 I have had a similar issue with mine but it seems to come and go. Sometimes when I want to go fast I have to pull the pedal back with my heel. Not been able to find a fix for it
Thanks for the review, is it powerful enough for tall grass? Thanks!
It's a strong runner! Thanks for the comment!
Please, put on some steel toe boots.
Thank you for the comment! I just watched this and had a major face palm! Good call
Tire are extremely thin and just grass will poke a hole in them 😢😢😢
No thanks I put 200 bucks in parts and my very old Murray is like new and I sent the rest of the 2000 to President Trump😊😊😊❤❤❤
Them old mowers seem to keep on going! I had an old snapper from my grandpa that ran a long time and cut like a dream!
Is that 200cc a pushrod/rocker arm, 2 valve? Is the yamaha 250 the same technology?
Yes the 200 has the rockers but the Yamaha is an overhead valve with timing chain.
I mowed 4 or 5 feet of grass did have to mowed at the first setting so it won’t died then 2 setting did fantastic job. It’s been a great mower I love mine I prefer this over a John Deere or any expensive name. Brand I love mine
I have a 1025 bought an oversized 3260 tiller thinking will fit, barely fits although, the extra wight in the back raises the front end off the ground, going up hills I've added 500 ponds in the front loader plus 150 at the tractor front, the shaft is hard to get straight with the tiller had to lower the depth then in order to get more depth had to raise my rear shield, but then get huge chunks, leaves a huge furrow at the end, getting level with raise was a challenge found a nice level spot,, like now could go where like, Yet had to become very familiar with the 3 point hitch with a rather large tiller attachment
Mine is a tank. Owned it 4 years never changed the oil, pull attachments all the time, rough cut power lines etc
Nice to hear another success story, most comments are not so good. Now a days it's a gamble if you get a good one or a lemon it seems. Thanks for watching and the comment!
What's the name of the Yamaha bike you got there I want to get that
That there is a 2019 yamaha XT250. Very good bike!
Just got one with 77 hours and belt is smoking on front
Well that ain't good man! I have had a stick get into the belt and throw it off the pulley before. You will prolly have to look for a bent pulley assembly or something like that. Hope it works out man
@@captainprairie5790 well I got in it CHEAP CHEAP.... only 77 hours. $800... so if they fix that or that pulley under the battery and tire it will be well worth it.. because my craftsman has +750 hours and now it won't start after I put $100 spindle and pulley on it
I’m buying a 2020 for $550 is that a good deal with only 10 hours on it
That seems like a dadgum good deal to me!
I bought the same one 2020 2 days ago for $400 wasn’t starting all it needed was carburetor solenoid lol
@@russ8625 nicely done!
A awesome deal
I think you’re stupid
I bought a new $3500 Troy Bilt riding mower. After 25 uses, the motor self-destructed. Turns out Troy Bilt is using Chinese-made engines. Taking it to their nearest "approved" warranty repair facility is 7-hours of driving.
Wow man, that sucks big time. Sorry for you trouble, hope it turns out better. These machines now a days seems like they are cheaper built, maybe it's just me. Good luck man, thanks for commenting.
Briggs and Stratton is chinese made?
Holy fuck, I just bought a brand new cub cadet 50 inch fab deck for $2800
Not many different sounds before and after , but i like your creative job
Thanks for the comment! The baffles really seemed to ruin the "fishtail" sound when riding, particularly on deceleration. Seemed to take power away also but, the torque cones added power. Thanks for watching!
I instilled TTI 158 device from DK custom it was perfect sound and reduced sound level i highly recommend for Fishtail slip on
@@sqr-khsalimalowais3468 I am definitely going to look into that! Thanks for the comment!
Hey I like your content! Think of the backhoe like an arm. ie: The bucket would be the hand and so on. If you want to truly do 2 functions at once with the backhoe or even the loader, look in to the Hydros plus pumps for the 1025R. Just search for it on TH-cam. Peace and Happy Tractoring!!
Your really " digging " on those cheap.China tires eh?.
I like the looks cause they are not the typical dirt bike tire, they don't wear much riding on paved streets and I just wanted to say I dig something!
Domo Arigato❤
Get the plastic off of that seat ASAP! I know a guy who left his on and it condensated underneath and molded/ruined his seat. Invest in a seat cover and throw it in the washer periodically. Also to get the plastic off without ripping the cover the entire seat needs to be disassembled. It's an hour you wont regret.
Hey man, thanks for the tip! I would have never thought of that. My tractor is always in the garage but it could still get condensation in there.
Do yourself a favor and buy a top link,, Clean her up and bring her back
Just bought a top link yesterday! I will be cleaning that thing up, replacing the grease boots and all that stuff. Still not sure on paint. Thanks for the comment!
Super filmik 🎉
Nice Find!
Thanks Fergie! My new favorite tractor
You’d have it dug out with a pick and shovel in an hour.
Probably could have but, that seems like a lot of work! I bought the tractor for a bit bigger jobs so figured why not see if it will pull that old stump out whilst I'm at it! Thanks for watching!
@@captainprairie5790 I was only joking with you 😂😂. It seemed like much more fun with the tractor.
@fakereality3792 I got ya! There is the fun factor as well. I done plenty of back breaking work in my youth, might as well have a little fun now!
@@captainprairie5790 I did it myself as well. We were stronger and healthier back then. We didn’t have the option of a tractor to do this sort of job. I have currently a JD zero turn for cutting grass ( 530m ) but hanker after getting a tractor like yours. 35,000 euro here though.
@fakereality3792 JD is proud of their equipment and the price shows! I might could use a zero turn at the compound but don't have that deep of pockets!
How about you take the dealership plastic off fruit cup
is the bike ok for someone that is 5.7? thanks
Absolutely! JR wasn't even 5'7" when we made this video, he has ridden this bike over 3k miles no problem!
Thank you for the feedback. I ordered one today, blue, like yours! Any other advise will be appreciated! Is there something that I would do to it before starting driving it? Thank you again..@@captainprairie5790
how hight is the seat? Thank you
Farmhand F 10 was a great loader. Had one on a Cockshutt 40 almost unstoppable
I'm gonna have to look that tractor up!
New project? Hum...
Insert evil genius laugh here!!!
That´s a odd-looking contraption, but it seems to work well enough
Es.
It is heavy! With the grapple it is fairly handy. I doubt the H would let a round bale but pretty sure the Farmall M would
Nice❤
Hi Capt., Any updates? ......... Are parts available?
I checked on parts a while back but have not ordered anything yet. Navigating the websites I have found is a bit challenging but I will git r done!
Still no problems?
Still running good! I have replaced the spindles and the blade engagement cable but that's it!
You put the baffles in backwards. If you want to quiet them down you'll need the fiberglass wrapped baffles.
Thanks for the comment! I took them out again for now, loss of power when I had them in. Come spring I might try putting them in the other way. Thank you for watching!
@@captainprairie5790 put them further back, as far back as possible if you try again.
@@ryker4124what do you think it will do to the "fishtail rumble"? I like that sound when decelerating and downshifting and after I put the half baffs in, I lost that completely. Thoughts?????
When the pto is engaged it starts to smoke white and stall in minutes but when not engaged it runs great I have no idea what’s wrong with it
Mine is doing this
Promo SM 😈
hi wondering should i not add gas to make bike run if is starting to stall? is this bad in general for small engine? nice bike wanting to purchase soon would u still recommending?
I think the design of the bike is just fine. The reason this happened was because the valves got tight again and Jr over-revved the engine. A tattle tell sign of when the valves are starting to get tight is when it won't idle or wants to stall when idling; I would readjust the valves then. On one of my other LIfan videos, a perscriber stated the new valve clearances that should extend the miles of when you would need to readjust the valves. This is a good bike. Onct I win the lottery, I will buy one for myself! Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!
Hi dude, we heard the news. If trannys are what you’re into that ok. We will still watch your content . 😂
I am looking at one, hopefully by spring I'll have a tractor.
At the dealership, I hope they treat you right, that will tell you how they will treat you if need maintenance. I refused to buy a different tractor because their customer service was junk. They treated me great at John Deere! Good luck, happy for you!!!
The Dealers here in my area are hard to deal with. Like Car dealers if not worse! But tractors are everywhere for sale. I'll find one , just a matter of time.@@captainprairie5790
meh
I appreciate your video It’s definitely real life! I love my jd 2025, but after using other attachments and trying to reattach the backhoe, it just about made me want to scrap it!!! Very frustrating!!!!
How deep can it dig a hole?
I have not tested the depth myself but it is reported to be able to dig 74"(6'2"). I am planning to dig an egress window and hopefully test this theory! Thanks for watching!!!
Thank you. I plan to buy this Model next week, if still in stock. Need it for hauling with a trailer attached, plus next years mowing. Thanks again for your Great Review.
Thanks for watching! Hope you have as good of luck as I have had with it!
Man those thingy’s need seatbelts!
That's for another video!!! :)
I bought my Pony from Lowe’s in 2011 for less than a grand. Have had no issues with it. Everything is still original except for the deck blade spindles and blades. Keep oil changed and clean air filters in it. I don’t wash mind all that much but will place a hose next to the deck at lowest setting and run blades to clean underside of deck. Never put the wash attachment on mine. Prior to this one my wife bought me an MTD lawn tractor from Lowe’s back in 93 after we got married. Had that till I got the Pony. Replaced the spindles on that one too and would have replaced the starter solenoid but the tranny went out before that. Engine was still in real good shape.
I bought an old model in about 2002 and I was always rough on it put about 200 hours on it without changing the oil and even ran it without oil for 3 or 4 hours. Bought a 2022 model and put it to the same work. Never have any issues with them
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Should have just cut other bracket off the pipe
Could have done that for sure! I wanted to save the Vance and Hines pipes and brackets for another project or sell them. I am hording some old parts I take off to repurpose. Thanks for commenting and watching!
