    What temperature should the water be? Does it need to start out warm or cold?

    • @onwa_official
      @onwa_official 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Assuming you are asking about the water used to soak the rawhide (at around 1:31 in the video)... The water should be room temperature. Rawhide, like leather, does not like to be too hot or too cold. Boiling water specifically is bad for rawhide.

    Chi miigwech, I watched just to be sure I was already doing it well as I am just coming back to the teachings, I understood and knew all that was described except the cloths. Are we supposed to be making tobacco ties or what is it for?

    • @onwa_official
      @onwa_official 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depending on your local traditions, the cloth can be used to make offerings such as tobacco ties or it can be used to wrap and protect your sacred items that you are feasting. We recommend bringing some semah (tobacco) to an elder to ask more about your local traditions.

    immeasurable thanks, such a wonderful remembrance of the spirit bear... 💖 many times in the past I have walked by the sides of many folks observing their antics.... has a boy often hide in (family) trees to learn and grow in wisdom, and sometimes has an old man sit by your fires... My Name(s) on a Beloved Isle AMATHAON, ARTUR, MYRDDYN Blacksmith, Warrior, Druid the Ploughman... Holiest of Knights... Celtic Bear King... (when sleep walking) King Artur (when awake) Duty, Honour, Perseverance... Keep your spear sharp, but your mind sharper... Measure not by length, but by loyalty & humility... Always & Forever the true PRINCE of WALES... Cymru Am Byth & KING of all BRITON'S... Cede Nullis just a small boy learning to be a good spirit guide, and hopefully one day become a "great" one like my Grand Father 🐻👑🐻
