Not all 2 room flexis are the same - even in the same block. For example, the ones in the West, some have bay windows in the living and bedroom. Now the flats are small enough to begin with but they become much smaller with a wall to wall slab of concrete. No, these slabs cannot be hacked off, they have structural purpose. It's hard to ask if the apartment has bay windows when the show flat doesn't er show the bay windows. If you buying 2-room (or any other) watch out for bay windows. I think rooms with bay windows also tend to be a bit odd shaped.

HDB 2-room flexi flats are bad in terms of feng shui as the toilet always share common wall with the kitchen, and the (type 2) flats at this site have the toilet bowl back-to-back with the kitchen stove.

merpati no good because 10 year MOP then mattar MRT is not accessible to any useful MRT station, you can only go chinatown, no where else Then worse of all, merpati flat is direct west facing. that means you will hot till die if you buy the flats facing the sun, which is half of them. With it not being accessible to anywhere, it's not good for that price.

Love ur accent ! Btw , I lack of confidence on Kingsford developer and the whole team because the other two famous project in the past . Kingsford only have a few project in mainland China only in one city in northern part , not like other famous developer across the whole country , which means his all network all in there. back to this new project , I worry later they give u cheap cheap things in common area all jalat leh, however, the location and project itself is very good.

lol the commute will be BAD. I lived at a block about 10mins walk away from Khatib station 10 years ago. During peak hours if you were able to squeeze yourself into the train, considered yourself lucky and you had to stay as a sardine in the train all the way to at least Orchard Station. A 33mins travel won't feel like a 33mins travel. If there were a train delay, well good luck. The train situation during peak hours has not improved, even with the new brown line. The population in Singapore has also increased significantly.
