If there are multiple projects in the town, you apply for the town and not the project. So it makes sense to apply for the town that has more than one projects so you have more options to choose.
did HDB/government announce this somewhere? that applicants now can only select town but not project? somehow I feel like I haven't read any news around this? I google also cannot find. this is actually a very big change.
I balloted for Bedok, really wonder what's the interest distribution between the 3 projects too. For Merpati Alcove, URA master plan shows that there will be more desirable BTOs in that same area, so maybe people are holding out.
merpati no good because 10 year MOP then mattar MRT is not accessible to any useful MRT station, you can only go chinatown, no where else Then worse of all, merpati flat is direct west facing. that means you will hot till die if you buy the flats facing the sun, which is half of them. With it not being accessible to anywhere, it's not good for that price.
Correct, you cannot choose a particular project during application, you have to pick a flat in that estate/town when invited.
What will happen if the applicant is eyeing for one of the 3 locations but there are no available unit except for the other 2 locations ?
@@JohnSmith-nm2gs u either take the other 2 locations u dont want or give up and face the penalty.

Merpati Road is right beside Mattar MRT. Calling it Merpati makes sense?
ha ha, perhaps. but that street name is not so popular though. from marketing standpoint, more strategic to pick a popular name

@@ahmadnurhadi2648 it will be in Feb too, together with the bto launch.
The Oct BTO seems way oversubscribed... looks like housing demand is still there... prices will still be going up
