hi, thanks for this useful video!, what a shame that this is happening, particularly after you pay for a service that you think will preserve your comic book collection!, not to mention the money you spend for getting your comic graded and slabbed.

Thank you Jim for giving us a tour of your operation. I always imagined your comic book room as an office size or extra bedroom. It's more like an advanced comic book closet. LOL. I can't wait to hear how these Vevor presses work out. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

You didn't say where to get the pack of srp paper?

I use the same press you just got. Been using it for 6 months or so, no issues.

I have the same press. My cats HATE the beeping, highly irritating.

I have that Vevor as well! It’s been serving me well for about a year. The back column on mine is not strong enough so it rocks back if you try to lower the lid with high pressure. Their springs are too high tension so I removed 3 of the 6. Fortunately you don’t need really high pressure, especially for HOPing, so it serves our purposes.

Any concern with overloading a breaker? I'm sure you won't have all seven going at one time but this is definitely something to think about as you have several going. Most closets/smaller rooms are tied to another room/bedroom for power purposes. May be work investing to have an electrician to come out and see what you want to do and have them either beef up the electrical outlets/wires to better handle your needs.

I like my Vevor. A bit smoother than the Tusy press. Easy assembly. I have 5 presses running on this epic full GI Joe master collection - all, Marvel, IDW, DDP, Image... all in 9.8's. 😎 only a few more left to go! Your channel has been a great compendium to go with this project and very helpful. 🤙🏼

Finally getting my first heat press. I been cleaning and using a tack iron for about 2 years. So I'm so ready. Also I have watch all your videos. Plus I have been using your grade tools for over a year. I have got great at it. Comic book store I work at I have stunned almost everybody there. So Thank You so Much !!

Most good PID controllers go through a calibration phase to establish the controller settings. After that, it will start cycling the heat on and off before it hits your target temp.

You deserve an upgrade. Get your wife to allow you to use a bigger room.

Just a heads up. Some of those presses have a programming error. The timers can't be set past 99 seconds or the control box freaks out. Also, like you have shown the temps will climb higher in the beginning and then come back down.

Your Yoda impression is good to Jim. Haha It gives me another idea for the Jim Mint Comic Book. I'm currently working on your Superhero Costume haha

I have the same press, it works great.

I have the same press and it does a great job no issues at all. After the timer goes off it’ll run about 10 more minutes and shut itself off

Just curious what did you do before comic cleaning/pressing? I’m just getting started in my physical therapy career but I’d love to clean/press for profit more often.

Sent 2 Books in on November 10th and CGC just checked them into their system on December 13th. It’s all new to me but one book I sent in was Secret Wars #8. The time that has passed since I submitted it, there have been huge price drops on that book Even on the newsstand edition which is what I have.

Thank You for putting so much into our Group/Comic Community. We are here to support you too Jim. As far as I'm concerned take all the time you need there are lots of people in the group and I can keep them busy and ask them a bunch of questions to distract them slightly so you can get your work done. haha. I can tell a few Chuck Norris Jokes as kind of a warm up act before you release the next videos. We will be here for at least a year and we have lots of time. We support you in your cleaning and pressing and I'm sure nobody is going to ask you to stop making money, as we would rather see you eating and keep a roof over your and families head rather than anything. If anyone in the group has a problem with this, I will call Chuck Norris and tell him to stares at everyone in the group until they realize our fearless leader must clean and press books to survive. For most people arguing with Chuck Norris is either Futile, or in most cases...Fatal. I's like to say I could speak for everyone in the group and say we are here to support you also Jim, If you need time to work on books let me know ahead of time, you know I can easily post about 20 Questions a day until you need to return. Thank You for your help Jim. To anyone reading this you are going to want to get in the Beta group when it becomes available. It is well worth the Price. The knowledge and the people (Chuck Norris does not identify as part of the people in the group, as he is God) are great and the website is intuitive, structured and really simple to navigate. it will be great to have new people in the future, Stay tuned and mark the Date on your calendar for the Beta Course as you will learn so much and get to have fun at the same time. You may even be subjected to the odd Chuck Norris Joke along the way. Be great to see you get involved.

I think it’s worth grading the last pack at least. It’s possible to get a 9 for some of those 10 if you’re really lucky.

I took advantage of that CGC sale, and mine are on the way back now. I sent a separate order in for Clayton Craine signing back in July and it's still sitting waiting for grading.
