Gosh I wish Wrex, Garrus, Liara and Tali were all available in ME3 for the Wrex mission

After seeing a bunch, I just have to say that I really, really appreciate your shorts. No dumb music. No unnecessary contrast/saturation/exposure manipulation. No bad jumpcuts or edits. Proper subtitles. Proper framing and cropping (as much as vertical format allows). Just a proper job all around.

It would be one thing if you have a supply of "Thermal Clips" that you would swap out and reuse. You have to be taking the new thermal clips from somewhere. Why couldn't you just be just be putting the hot ones into a "cooling unit". Heat can be converted to electricity. That makes way more sense than thermal clips being littered all over every planet and Reaper base.

Femshep doesn’t carry that same threatening persona as male Shepard sorry but it’s true, I personally find it hard to take her seriously

I hated the clips but I tried to rationalize it by making a headcanon that when you pop a clip to just store it back into your pockets to let it cool down that way but still have the 'power' and magically never run out of ammo. It sounds dumb but when you take into account that Collectors were before any other species became space fairing then would explain away running out of ammo before the end of the mission. Oh and also would actually make the Reaper War be a serious fighting chance. The only plot hole would be Garrus 'running out' of these thermal clips. But y'know... write off the one time instance, right? 😂

Most of the changes ME2 made to the combat were poor choices. Thermal clips were just the headliner. Let's not forget the game forcing you into gears of war cover based shooting (with space magic thrown in). Or shared power cooldowns which make no sense for tech abilities. Repetitive loops of breaking down shields with overload, then armor with incinerate. Stripping down squadmates to just 4 powers each and all following the same pattern of 3 + 1 loyalty ability. Never in ME2 do you feel rewarded for using the combat environment as you might in ME1. Nor do you ever get as powerful as late-game biotic based classes. But in addition to that almost all of the combat in ME2 is middle-range with few exceptions. Gone are the tightly packed storage mazes or open approach planet missions of ME1. ME2 scraps anything that was new or interesting about the first game in favor of a safe chest-high wall shooting gallery. It also takes the honor of worst writing moment in the entire series with crew abduction post Reaper IFF. Even ME3's original endings had more thought put into them than that story beat. Bioware loves to complain that ME1 and ME3 were unfinished. Bitch if ME2 is what 'finished' looks like then EA did you a favor by forcing a deadline.
