You could hav went into the set up features where one holds the FAN and UP ARROW at the same time for 3 seconds and explain what each number indicated.

I press menu and it does nothing. I hold it and it makes me cycle through all the main options. It does not let me set time. When I reach P it cycles through the weekdays on its own. I do not have time or schedule on the lower buttons. It’s confusing and aggravating.

You don't use braising just on air conditioning or Refrigeration you use it for medical gases and even Queen oxygen supplies the reason why you braise is because if you solder you've got to use a flux and they want the inside of that joint to be as clean as possible

Seems complicated, also am I able to charge my own freon or do I need to call someone for that?

Lol, there's no filter near this unit! Most outside units pull air in, from the outside, into the center and blow the air upwards. Rinse with a hose, try to get the water from the center out, to reverse the path of the junk

That is the outside condenser. The air filter has no affect on how dirty it gets. The air filter keeps the coils in the air handler (inside unit). Yes keeping it clean will help but don't be out here with some fake bull shit.

Its not needed if you scale in your unit and do the math correctly !! You should be able to read gauges and see what ya delta temp is. & Evap coil temp

Your selling dreams not reality. There is a massive cost for backup electricit elements for WHEN not if the heat pump breaks or too cold for it to produce the btu to heat the home properly and then a smaller portable generator will never be enough to heat the home in a outage. Also the fact that a 2000sqft house will require a 400 amp panel to supply a all electric home. And 600 amp for 3500sqft and larger.

i have this same exact thermostat. I am running into an issue. Lets say current temperature is 70, and i want to turn the heat up(set it) to 71 or 73. Nothing happens. But, if i select 72 or 74 the heater turns on instantly(as it should). What wrong here? This problem only happens with heat setting at the moment.

Does setting a schedule, Vs adjusting the temp manually help yor electric bill? I am gonna try the schedule aspect during the summer months (now) because I am curious.
