There’s something oddly horrifying about that ending stinger. Kid just wanted to save his favorite hero and ended up being forced to live the life of one in the process.

I grew up with these audio books on cassette. I still have some in a box somewhere in the attic. I was a huge Goosebumps fan as a kid. I was in the official fan club! 😊

All rl stine books are great some are 😢and others are scary

I remember reading this back then and almost crying. It was an amazing story but had a sad ending. I really liked how they foreshadow the ending in both page 1 and 12.

This audiobook was good, but the Deep Trouble audiobook was good too, and it had great voiceover by the late Adam Rich as Billy Deep. It’s also the only adaptation there is of the book since the Goosebumps episode actually adapts the second book.

Probably the best one I’ve ever heard❤️
