Tire change on the Extreme Bull GT Pro , doing quality checks along the way. I'm not going to go too deep about how I feel this wheel is built, you can decide it yourself. I forgot to record putting back front/back handles & kickstand, but those are very straight forward so I don't think it'll be needed. - Get Michelin Pilot Street 2 tire here: www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/michelin-pilot-street-...

In this video, I try to talk about the Begode Mten5 as its own individual EUC. It took a few takes to finish this recording, because I kept comparing the Mten5 against the Mten4 unintentionally. Make your Begode Master Pro V3 nimble - Tire Spacer Mod
มุมมอง 1.3K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Timestamps are in description! Disclaimer: Please do this mod at your own risk. The tire I have is stock street tire that comes with the wheel. The C40 motor have abnormal width, it stretches the tire mounted to it and ruin the profile of the tire, which makes it flatter and harder to turn with. These spacers fits between the rim and tire sidewall to squeeze the tire inward and make the tire cl...

My boy Tep
Tép always talk with sense. It's literally a pleasure listening to this man.
What’s up Tep? Why am I now finding your channel?? Lmao I subbed for sure
I totally agree with Your opinion. I've been able to ride Blitz for a few days and (as a daily Lynx rider) i was flabbergasted by performance and how agile it is, firmware is top notch. Though all of that mechanical issues and design design flaws totally destroys that experience.
Funny, I sold my Lynx for a Blitz. It's Bego(diy) so you know there's gonna be issues to address, but for this kinda punch it's worth it.
Yeah I think if you're willing to put the effort into modding the wheel, it'll be great. I'm just not very open to doing that right now, not when there's more readily use options available. I'm trying to keep my wheel lineup from going out of control (again lol), otherwise I would've kept both Blitz and Lynx.
@RideEUC I get it. This hobby/sport changes fast, always improving. So easy to get caught up in the next new new. I kinda missed having problems to solve in 2024, getting the Lynx then the L, and it's -5 F here so.. time to mod/upgrade in the garage.
I don't have the Blitz but it makes me feel like it rides closer to the RS19 ride style. I really miss that fast lightweight agile ride. I hope they make it better. I have the Master now but it doesn't have that same kick the RS19 does.
The responsiveness of the Blitz came very close to non suspension for sure. I think this wheel, and the Commander Mini are the two that are remotely close to what non suspension wheels feels like, decently low COG, and responsive stop/go.
Great review!
"Moderately fast"? Sounds like you did not push the Blitz enough
If you see the speed test part, I've hit 53 MPH wheel speed, and over the last 3 months of owning it, I found the Blitz to start stalling out as it get near 55 MPH (wheel speed). It can go faster than that, yes, but the effort required to do that is just more than what ET Max or GT Pro+ requires in comparison. Both of these 168V wheels have no issue climbing past 55 and staying there So that's why I said it's moderately fast, because while I think Blitz have one of the best acceleration/braking response time, it's not the fastest wheel in the block. In term of potential top speed, 168V wheels like ET Max & GT Pro+ outperforms the Blitz by a notable margin.
@ sounds about right. Thanks for all the detail! My confussion lies in the fact that many do the usual comparisson of the Blitz against the Lynx and, in terms of speed, they are VERY similar (I own a Blitz and have tried the Lynx extensibly).
Wouldn't it be the easier solution to put the bliz c32 in the x way 134, maybe 34 mm stator magnet, more torque wired motor or software when possible 🤷♂️
I've thought about that as well, but from what I understand, the ergonomic of X-Way and Blitz are different. X-Way chassis is positioned higher up for trail riding, so even with C32 motor, it won't really ride the same as Blitz. As for motors, I really think they should have kept C32 motor on the Blitz Pro at least, that wheel have a C36 motor, which is similar to ET Max, so I don't think it'll pull the same way the Blitz does.
Great vid thx
Really nice review thanks ! Have you try the begode extreme ?
Thank you, I did have an Extreme for almost a year before getting the Blitz. Any question feel free to ask.
@@RideEUC in term of acceleration the extreme vs the blitz is similar ?
@@loufugier3481 Blitz accelerate faster, easier, take less pushing than Extreme.
Awesome upload TEP. This is the first video I watched this morning pulling back into Texas on a Cruise ship. Went to Honduras, Belize etc and put my Airplane mode on for a week. Cheers
I’ve been leaning on purchasing the Lynx but I keep hearing how it’s not the most stable wheel which is giving me second thoughts.
The pedal heights on the Lynx definitely make it not as stable as say the Blitz, but it's just a hurdle that you can get over by practicing. I'm enjoying the acceleration assist feature on the Lynx, it really make the wheel a little more responsive compared to what it was in the beginnning.
@ Have you tried the pedal lowering kit? If so how much has it helped with the stability?
@@dustinhankins2153 I do have a set of those in the past. It does help a lot with stability, and acceleration/braking will be more responsive, but it messes with turning behavior, since you now have more weght above. I don't use them anymore because I feel like the Lynx handles much better with stock pedal heights, but for long distance street rides with minimal piloting required I think lowering kit might be useful.
What do you think about the Nosfet Apex vs the Lynx?
LOL poe2 has taken a toll on me this winter break too., Thanks for the vid.
Stay away from nooosfet it's inferior in every way possible completely failed wheel
ET max for the win... The only way is begode anything else is just trying to catch up
awesome review
I have a Blitz and I really love the wheel. I daily commute on it, and I know exactly what you mean about all the issues you mentioned, but at the same time, for me they really dont bother me. The handle does touch my knees but i use it to get more leverage during a turn, sometimes even grabbing it mid turn just for fun. It jumps really smooth and can take enormous drops without bottoming out at all. My wheel doesnt make the same noise as yours when hitting stairs, mines a bit quieter and not so clunky, so maybe your suspension wasnt the best. I love how the wheel rides, the power is amazing. It performs excellently on both trails and streets. I also agree that its probably not a wheel for everybody. I like how tall it is, it makes me feel secure but i can see why some people wouldnt like that aspect. Ive put 2500 miles on it in about 3 months. Nice video but for me idk if id trade mine for a Lynx. Their pedal behavior is kind of a deal breaker for me
I'm kinda in the same boat as you, I really like how my Blitz rides, so I hope that maybe Begode will come back later this year and revise the wheel so that minor inconveniences are addressed. It would be an instant buy from me if they can do that. I had mine for about 3 months also, and I tried to play around with the suspension quite a bit, and found a pretty comfortable spot (150 PSI, rebound almost half, max compression), but the noise never goes away. I was told it's due to the bore of stock shock being bigger than the axle that holds it, which cause that noise. There wasn't anything I can easily do about that. So yeah, I was ok with keeping my Blitz, but the Lynx trade landed on my lap and I took it because I owned one in the past, and I know what to expect. I'm not happy with LK's pedal behaviors either, but at the same time I don't offroad often enough for it to be a big concern, and I feel that LK is still trying to improve the firmware, although they're not doing a good job at it.
@@RideEUC I really like the look of the Sherman L. I think if I was looking for a range wheel I may consider that. It looks really good for street cruising. My suspension is set to a similar setting but for me it just doesn't make that much noise so maybe I got lucky? I've crashed the blitz at a fairly high speed as well and it still rides nicely. At least it's a durable design
@@RideEUC at least its better than the trashway
Totally agree with the handle display. So lets call it what it is, a big booboo by BG no doubt as witnessed by the Xway. The suspension linkage (or izit the stanchion?) clacks are typical BG & tbh, does not really bother me so long's its reliable. Ride with BT neckband buds so dont hear it anyways. Tho I love the concept of light weight with more suspension travel, I dont feel the upgraditis itch from my present Master v4. Cant agree that everything has to be perfect tho as its always going to be a bridge too far, not to mention that perfection is subjective to each of us. To be fair, the Lynx doesnt induce any upgraditis itch for me either. Thanks for the vid regardless
About the suspension noise, it's due to the stock shock bore being bigger than the pin that holds it, so it rattles and respond slower than it should. I've owned other Begode wheels and the Blitz's suspension is the second loudest yet (Right behind ET Max, which have its own problems). Stanchions are fine for the most part. And I feel like you misunderstood, I'm not looking for perfection from EUC manufacturer ( don't think that's possible lol), but I think it's important that the end users have higher standards when it comes to choosing an EUC, because the only way you push for these companies to do a better job is by not buying what you think isn't good enough.
@@RideEUC I hear ya brother. Again no offense intended. One can argue that BG's choice of using a linkage system is flawed & I wouldnt argue but that said, from its inception since the OG Master, I've seen & felt BG's steady improvement & I also appreciate BG's receptive attitude towards community opinions. I started this journey on a Tesla v2 & a mten3. Since then, BG has come a long way but ofcos, there's still much they can improve as I as well. All good bud, keep it up. Will await your opinions on the Xway esp incomparo to the Blitz
@@scottsum1319 No offense taken at all, it's always good to have these talks, and thank you for your support!.
The blitz pro race edition is far better. 168v with an ET Max motor in magnesium alloy. This is a Master v5
I was hoping they address the screen issue that everybody complained about a pond the release. The pro, Visually you can't tell them apart at least they should have done something so people could know the difference between the pro and the regular. Also at the Begode world race the racers were complaining about it not being fast enough, so they get their own custom made version that will only be offered to them
@ultrasupreme9312 there is a relocate kit for the screen that will help. I'll be printing that for sure
Blitz is a bust.

For those interested in a checklist for your new Blitz, please refer to this EUC forum post: forum.electricunicycle.org/topic/36378-begode-blitz-2400wh-134v-20-79lbs/page/34/#findComment-527477 I forgot to mention that there's aftermarket suspension linkage + shock you can buy for the Blitz, but they go for about $300. Worth it or not, it's for you to decide.

Soap and water and tire spoons makes the job so easy. I finally swapped my tire last nite.. Can't wait to put some miles on it.
Heck yeah, you'll love the new tire for sure, have fun.
What tire pressure do you run?
34 PSI
Will this mod work for the commander gt pro plus? Turning sucks on the stock tire.
Nope, just change your tire to a better one.
What size tube did u get for this?
2.75-14 tube will fit, just make sure you get tubes made for EUC (bent valve).
I'm definitely getting this tire.. The stock tire is trash
that box has seen war
dang, only 20~24 miles? thats sad really. the description on onewheels says 35~40 miles 😭 i get about 20 miles on the V10F. wanted to get the bgode falcon cuz i thought it was going to be a little more mileage, at least 10 more miles, but if not then rip
A wheel worth buying?
is it easy to god mod an Mten4? also is your garage heated?
Hi nice too see your channel in my recommendation
Great review brother. Your reviews and commentary are really great. Cheers Olympia WA
Great video! I upgraded my A2 to A2+ when my original board started cutting out randomly and I also could instantly notice the power increase when upgrading to A2+. My OG wheel used to beep from 18-21 depending on battery state but now Ive go 23 and never heard a beep. It’s honestly scary since I don’t want to push more power than my 50e cells can provide given the board was intended for 50S
Do you think the new top panel with the heat sink jeopardizes the Mten5's water resistance?
It doesn't, the metal heatsink have a silicone gasket around it on the inside to keep water out. There's another gasket that goes around the top to keep over from getting in also, you just have to be extra mindful to make sure the gasket is seated correctly before putting top cover back on.
Thanks for the update, great video!
If it's street tire it's not an issue...
Love mine
Whats the actual weight? Says 41 pounds but also says the A2 is 41 pounds?
@@Euc_Anakin Actual weight is 42 lbs, same weight as A2.
Great update! I’ll get the top panel from my supplier. Not sure if I’ll pay for the upgraded board though.
@@spikebbc Absolutely nothing wrong with the original mten5 board, I would keep running it since you already have the wheel.
Consider me rizzed.
