The goal of my channel is to make high quality, original documentary-style videos. Although my channel is not about one specific thing, what IS consistent is the high quality research, editing, and music selection. I value giving YOU, the viewer, the best possible video I can give. I refuse to put out anything that is incomplete or poorly done. I’m not someone who will release weekly, but when I do release, it is worth your time.

Of these players, Dan Gheesling is frequently considered the greatest to ever do it. The only problem with Dan’s game in BB14 that he was completely flawless with in BB10 was jury management. He was just so cold at times to people in BB14 that they didn’t care how well he played but that he had made them feel bad. He didn’t really have that problem in BB10.

Dude, top 3 youtube channels with less than 10k subscribers that very well could have hundred of thousands. I enjoy them a lot, and especially this one is super cool because I love when someone excels at ANY game somehow, thinking outside of the box, breaks the game somehow, or just makes some power moves. Silent Hill 2 remake next month, maybe we both look forward to it. :) Also I came here because of the melee content, but like the new stuff as well, even more actually because I get to be surprised because I've devoured every story line several times by now when it comes to melee. XD

I still think the best part of the move was not even hinting to Danielle about what he was about to do. Without her reaction, this move probably fails.

I love how the editing on this video once it hits 46:10 goes into full overdrive. It really gives an air of chaos and puts you into the state of mindfuckery that Dan inflicted upon the house. For newer Big Brother fans who didn't watch BB14 live, Taran's video "Remembering Dan's Funeral - From a Live Feeder's Perspective" is crucial viewing (the comments at 59:02 are from this video). It's a full breakdown of the house dynamics, with interviews quoted from many of the involved houseguests 5 years after BB14. A lot of the players either are in denial about how good Dan played, or are still bitter at him now; Dan's mist was so powerful that it lasted years after the fact.

Vanessa convincing Liz and Julia to target Austin in the POV competition was a smaller-scale but still masterclass manipulation. It was known to the whole house that if Julia won the veto, the Austwins alliance was safe, and since Johnny Mac was Steve’s strongest ally, Vanessa would’ve been evicted. Instead, she convinced Julia on the spot to make the worst possible move, and it worked. The post-Veto damage control wasn’t great on Vanessa’s part, but she still managed to get the outcome she wanted with her not being on the block (and it led to her successfully getting Austin out on her HOH the very next round).
Ok hear me out. Now that you've made a video about smash and talk about Ken, and you've made a video about big brother. You should make a video on Ken's terrible then great then terrible gameplay in survivor where he could have won the whole season easy if he wasn't so freaking awkward.

@@bool_master dont mean to criticize the video itself. Its obviously well researched and well written. But this dan guy should not be idolized, he clearly is just a manipulative prick. Its hard for me to watch this without feeling bad for the people involved in the show. Even if i could just see it as a game witth fictional characters, it doesnt seem to be a good game with lots of “depth” simply because the one that wins isnt always the most strategic but instead the most heartless, dan seemed to win there because he doesnt give a fuck about anyone else. The other people might not do this kind of “strategic” moves not because they are less strategic, but because theyre not as heartless.

It's crazier when you consider the fact that Britney would of likely won BB14, if not for this move. Dan correctly assessed that Britney was his greatest strategic threat in the house. So, not only did he save himself from a doomsday scenario, he also took out his greatest threat which is the cherry on top. Dan humiliating Danielle in front of everyone made Shane think that Danielle and Dan were not going to work together, and thus making him think it was better for him to vote out Danielle. Then, he was basically able to steal Britney's role, and convince the QP to target their anger on Frank. (I think.)

I think it was just cause Britney was Ian's closest ally. Had, let's say a Shane or even a Joe had been Ian's closest ally they would have been the replacement nom, luckily for Dan it was Brit. The move in essence without all the theatrics was blowing up the quack pack and revealing that Ian was the one Frank should be mad at and using the veto to hurt Ian the most.
