    What do you mean you don’t get access to the desk??? Can’t you just ask whoever is in charge of that?? 😮

      In the UK most venue staff don’t even know where the sound desk is. It’s usually an integrated system that has been installed in a ‘set it and forget it’ manner. There is rarely an external person handling the sound on a wedding da like in the states for example, it’s always just using the Venues built in system.

    @roo_films May i know if you use AF/MF on the cameras that are on the tripod? . if you use AF, what zone do you generally use. Thanks a lot for sharing these BTS.

      Hey I use MF on my static cameras. Often I use AF to lock in the focus on the area I want, then switch to MF so it doesn’t move

      @@harshavardhan7277yes I’m not sure the terminology of it but if I press the joystick in it switches to MF until I let go. When I let go it switched back to AF. Can’t remember if it’s called toggle or hold. I have the opposite set up on a custom button too. So when I press that the camera switches to MF and stays locked on MF

You have basically setup the joystick to "AF/MF Control Hold" , which switches the focusing mode while the button is held down and the custom button to "AF/MF Ctrl Toggle" , which switches the focusing mode until the button is pressed again.

    Roo, it looks like you love your 55mm. Can I just ask what do you use when you have a tight space for bridal preparation and also when the bride is placed to close to the source of light? TA

      In some situations I use my 35mm 1.8. Recently though I’ve been trying to not lean on that, and just work around the restrictions of a tighter lens. Forces me to be more creative if I stick with the same focal length no matter what

      Log is super handy in some situations. But if you are able to nail exposure in camera majority of the time then it’s an unnecessary extra step in post
