Here's round 5 of the Australian Kart Championship. Had a lot of bad luck but better results which is a pleasant change. Thanks to mum and dad, MKC, Gawney, CC racing for their help throughout the series.

Unlike the last weekend, this one was very good and we had great results on a whole. Had good pace in practice, and put it on P3 for qualifying. The first heat was difficult as I was losing 6k's down the straight and I went back to 9th I think. We changed carby for heat 2 and found myself keeping with the leaders. Ended up passing for the lead and holding on to take my first Senior win at State...

Very average weekend in Geelong, struggled for pace and had no idea what was wrong. Isn't fun knowing where you should be and being 15 places behind that at times. 2017 Australian Kart Championship Round 1 - Newcastle - KA3 Senior. Very average weekend in Newcastle. Because of the race format, I had to start the heats from 27th due to an engine problem costing me half a second a lap. With this sorted, I could have been in the top 15 which I would have taken. Really average starts in the first three heats, but dodging disaster meant that I placed in 25th, ...

Here's a video with pretty much every race I've raced this year in KA4 Junior Heavy. Pretty average way to end the year but no doubt we will come back stronger in 2017, with new challenges racing seniors. Looking forward to seeing how my second year of racing goes!

Final round of the Golden Power Series yesterday, raced both KA4 Junior Heavy and KA3 Junior. Qualifying: Almost missed qualifying due to scrutineering but managed to pole it without the toe. Heat 1: Good initial start but got caught in someone's bumper so I went down to last.
