This channel is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Swami Premananda by making short video clips of satsangs that he gave during his life. Swami Premananda was a great avatar who dedicated his life to bringing people closer to the Divine. He was completely immersed in bliss despite a life of constant trials. By his perfect example and through his great compassionate and pure love he helped people to overcome sorrows and difficulties and come closer to the Divine. Every year Swamiji participated in the Amman chariot festival of the Sri Muthumari Amman Temple in this birthplace, Matale, Sri Lanka and gave annadanam (free food) to the thousands of people coming there from all over the country. Afterwards he would hold a programme with satsangs and bhajans in the Mahatma Gandhi Hall, where the Matale Ashram was.

Great explanation! I'm wondering does what you mentioned work equally on a normal idol (not consecrated, with no prana pratishtha done on it)?
If you practise it with devotion and concentration, it will benefit you no matter what you perform the practice on. But, like a better car drives faster, a consecrated statue made in the way that was proscribed by the sages will work better for its purpose, support your practice more and therefore you will benefit even more.
