Thank you Mike McIntyre for recognizing the CSS North Carolina.
Today’s military is filled with a bunch of pronouns, purple haired and lost
💪🏿💪🏿💥
Extremely impressive ship and crew. Glad to see the CO of this lethal warship is a full Captain. His experience will be a decisive factor in the event it ever is First In Fight.
It’s interesting that they keep referring to the North Carolina as a ship…..submarines either attack subs or boomers are always referred to as boats.
It is just amazing that there plans were designed so well that it is possible to fly them for 100 years! Bravo To Boeing!

You inaugurated the mass killing of the atomic bomb. You like this title now?
I served on USS Columbus SSN 762. Got out right as my rate of TM was being integrated to MM. Wasn't a fan of that but I see they still call them Torpedomen.

I was on this ship at this time. I know all these sailors.
I cant imagine the weight these men carried after the fact. However, as destructive as both bombs were, less lives were lost from both sides in comparison to the estimations made to the alternative of the Allies invading Tokyo.
Best chow ever!!!

Karen 📢 alert! August 6th 1945, life is tough when you live and work in the 🎯 impact area💥🔥☢️💀...
@@covertops19ZHaving moral and ethical values is considered being a Karen now?
@@cemoDersim62 Nope. BTW, I named my dumped tiny sray cat Ferebee. Because he showed up on Aug 6th..
A hundred fifty thousand people.. Maybe more.. Died in a white-hot flash of fire. But no one ever says, "Colonel Thomas Ferebee killed a hundred fifty thousand people. " They just blame the bomb. Not the bombardier who dropped it... Amazing 😒😮💨
My Grandma knew this man. She never mentioned him, until she was in the hospital after falling. She told us a story while gazing at the ceiling, that he flew her around in his plane while telling her of the day he dropped the bomb. It was almost like she was there again, the look on her face and the smile was so warming. I wished I would have asked her a few questions, but I didn't. She passed away not to long after that.
Wow.. so he was proud of murdering 140.000 people and bragged about it? I just know that he and his crew have a special place in hell
@@cemoDersim62 listen, those boys did as they were told. Just as if you enlist, you will do as they tell you. Gosh, some people just have no clue and just want SOMETHING TO BITCH ABOUT
@@brandygriffiss I've noticed that Americans really justify the most horrific warcrimes in the history of mankind just by simply stating „They just did their job.“ I live in Germany and with your logic, no guard in any of the concentration camps could be held accountable, because they simply did what they were told to do by putting innocent people in gas chambers. The terrorists of 9/11 also did as they were told. I can go on and on if you really want me to. Stop lying to yourself and acknowledge that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just testing grounds with free test subjects for Trumans new toys.
I didn't forget what the hell he's Talking about.
Impressive - happy 4th July, all!
So - saying it got an even record of submerging and surfacing probably is most creative way to say a submarine didn't sink yet I have ever heard. Or does that mean something else?
I think im related to admiral gravely
I flew misssions on KB-29 with 429 ARS, then On KB-50J with 431 ARS then KC-135 with 4505 ARW so experience with both probe and drouge and boom, both serve a function depending on the type of aircraft being refueled.
Damn the kb29

What refuels the refuel plane 🧐 lol
Bless our Vets. These guys rock!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Very fitting to have the USS North Carolina named sub when the area off the coast is called the Graveyard of the Atlantic. #s very 2000-5000 sunk ships and the USS North Carolina battleship “Showboat” is a beautiful sight. My grandfather lived close to Wilmington at the coast and he was a ww2 vet. He first took me to the battleship in the early 80s. And I’ve been going since
Never even heard of this ship!
All these Vietnam videos are basically BS. These veterans ( minus draftees) willingly chose to go to an unwinnable, illegal war. If they say otherwise they are promoting a falsehood. A lot of these people push the image that they could or did win the war, but the "politicians" and the "people back home" lost it. Vietnam was a national American disgrace, tragedy and defeat...and they share in the responsibility of it. The politicians and American people saw that the war was not being won, or was unwinnable. The US never really had the "hearts and minds" of the South Vietnamese people...who they supposedly were fighting for. They don't talk much about the war crimes they committed against the Vietnamese....OR even against their own personnel. Lastly, whether these guys won or lost...the Vietnam war had absolutely NO effect on American freedom, security, safety or way of life. They did NOT sacrifice anything for my...or your freedom. These veterans present themselves as victims and wrongly treated. They are big boys and went to a country to kill or be killed. They shared in the failure. Now they want to be recognized for their "sacrifice" through videos, Honor Flights, endless trips to the Wall in DC or to Vietnam itself. They never grew up and really moved on. They have made themselves an embarrassment to themselves and my generation.
50 years! Can you imagine flying a 100-year-old aircraft in the military lol?
my dad gave me a Signed check from Mr.Ferbee
Very cool
Naming subs after battleships, cruisers or carriers is just plain stupid,
300'long but man 100 men on less then 300' ship got to be tight how could u need 100 men seems like alot of guys even if it's 12hour shifts man I'd say less men be better and some jobs are on call 24/7 but I've never seem inside one torpedo guys must have boring Time being they probly will never even fire a real torpedo at a enemy
I remember being hungry as a child, wishing somehow that we had food so i didnt feel so bad. Saying Thank You for your service TODAY is like offering me food NOW for when i needed it THEN! Just doesn't quite fill the hole!
Thank you very much for this great video. In Peenemünde I filmed this Russian submarine 461. th-cam.com/video/WnHctZmZl74/w-d-xo.html What a difference. 😉 The Russian spy submarine in Hamburg is also worth a visit. th-cam.com/video/tIpc3atFm_o/w-d-xo.html Submarines fascinate me, even if I was not in the Navy. Greetings from Germany
1:07 omg I'm great at lying on my belly and pass gas, can I get paid for that aswell?
Taj daddy late all are on the road
What was your AFSC? where did you go to tech school?
As an air force vet ,i had the opportunity to do C-130 gunships. Amazing experience.
I always say the hardest part of serving was coming home. Everyone looked at us like there was something wrong with us. I came from a small rural area and the government pretty much cleaned out our little area, so coming home was okay in our little community, however once you got out of our little community, we were looked on by most people as mentally disturbed.
A man's man has nothing to do with killing woman and children. This event was evil.

Refilling these big birds it’s amazing Just letting you know I’m from New Zealand I love these videos give me goosebumps when I see these big birds getting refilled
😶
Facts presented that are amazing. A non intrusive periscope that allows for the bridge to be located in a larger roomier combat center bridge. Vertically launched missiles are external to the pressurized hull where the crew resides. The Commanding officer holds the rank of captain which has more experience to in command.
Those dogs are K9 soldiers. Those dogs should all have medals.
All I can say is that for the few times I’ve been thought North Carolina I realized that Carolinians are the most amazing people I have ever met . Even the bbq sauce in NC is different. Even the military recognizes their amazing military personnel from NC . 🫡
